That was for 401k balances per JP morgan for the 30-39 age group

Also calling MASSIVE BS on the 30-34 year old having a net worth of 900k+ unless you're talking top 1%


Edit: Checked again that was compared to other people with a 50-75k salary so not all age group.

I pay into a rediculously expensive government pension so any "savings" I have on top of that goes into my side gig. Currently worth about 100k with like 60k in the pension and 2k in the bank.

I have only started up a TSFA recently because of the misc. Was putting all my money into my unstable business but recently started investing.

Not really. There's a lot of articles saying if you're 18 (as in no debt) and have $1 then you're richer than like 40% of American people.

People on this thread may have some retirement assets but it likely pales against their massive mortgage or student loan debt.
