If “we” are so rational (great projection to “we” instead of your own personal thoughts) what’s your problem with someone saying (or even regurgitating) that there may be a crash or very high volatility due to the futures market like the entire internet has been saying for the past month/as evidenced today? Either you’re superstitious, being irrational/don’t want to hear it or both.

You don’t have to answer but I’m genuinely curious.

-7,226.33227677 BTC $111,000,000 transaction

https://blockchain.info/tx/267ee18bc...c140929aa14a5e

There are some major players playing

--See the address on the bottom of input list. It had 14,440 BTC. Who the **** is this. That's 250+ million right now.

---that's insane. they have been buying low (earlier in the day) and selling high (just a few minutes ago) - and in those large amounts literally made so much of money!

https://blockchain.info/address/366k...DT1demdcHS8fVA

EDIT - if im right - roughly they made $200 million-ish

edit 2 - digging a bit deeper you can see they have been buying bitcoin since 2013 when 1BTC = $100. 12009BTC bought back then:https://blockchain.info/address/19vW...et=50&filter=6(this is the address where OP's address got money from.)

IOTA remains down on Bitfinex. Wish it was 3% up, -16% here. Still but way better than the nightmare that was yesterday.

Good stuff right here fellas. Take notes. $230 Monero? HNNNNGGGGGGG

As Carter Thomas has said over and over, his best trades were when he bought in during the crashes

Shutting this down.

The extreme negativity, coinbase and gemini hate, and pure idiocy a lot of you "investors" post here daily truly makes me cringe Irl.

The reality here is: OP found a currency he loves and wanted to invest in. Did it in an unconventional exchange, and was a success. Good for him! Don't be such a negative ******* for the sake of beig a dick...

The insane amount of comments degrading about bitcoin "crashing" also has to stop. I'll begin mass banning for those comments when I see them. So knock it off.

OP has more investment experience than the vast majority of the misc, with the average age being around 22, and knows his portfolio better than anyone here. Who the fuk are you to tear him down? Get a life. Truly.

OP. I wish you the best of luck. It sounds like you've found the currency of the future.
There is no thing without nothing.

It really makes you wonder what these whales and banks have in store.

They can pull their plug at any moment and send BTC into a free fall panic.

Meanwhile I'm sitting here with a fraction of a Bitcoin chitting myself.

Sorry I remembered the figure incorrectly. It’s actually 141,838.44 BTC. Regardless, bitcoin billionaire. God knows how he’s going to cash out but there you go. (Possibly an exchange wallet or something?)

Now picture that guy putting up 40 BTC at different sell values constantly walling. Insta-inflation of price. This whale is so disproportionately huge that he can even wall the whales.

To put this into perspective, another guy about 15 spots down on the rich list has 10,000 BTC.
