Yeah that's why I think most of them were accidents. The 10% that had faith in btc and how far it could go are the real mvp's, the goofballs who forgot where they put their wallet or that they even had any can go fukkk themselves, yes jealous.

First decide how much you would be okay with losing forever. Then start playing with a calculator to see how much you would have if you put in x amount and iota goes to x amount years into the future (I'd say keep it under $100 per MIOTA max, more like $50 or less). Balance that jooicy figure with the one you would be okay with never seeing again, then buy in when it's on a dip and hodl. Some cold storage companies are working on accepting iota (ledger and the one starts with a z I can't remember) plus there's a new wallet being developed that should be out this month or early next.

But srsly folks, slow down. I'm not all in and I only buy $3.xx IOTA.

Seems like it's never a bad time to buy btc if you're planning on holding for a few years minimum. I bought in at 17.4k earlier on a false prediction that the little consolidation at that level was gunna stick (went full bear mode on me this pm) and I ain't even scurred, it'll be blowing past that mark soon enough.

Yeah, absolutely not.

I'm thinking that we might not see crazy drops and prolonged bear markets anymore. There's too many people "waiting for the dip" that'll just stumble over each other speculating whether they're buying the bottom or not.

Agreed. It would take a massive black swan event to bring it back to those levels again. BTC has been so resilient there's no real fear anymore to cause big crashes like there used to be. Like all governments would have to ban fiat exchanges outright to even have a chance.

careful here. two major factors you probably aren't accounting for.

1) This is still virtually the wild west, wall street doesn't generally lose at games like this, and they have indicated intentions of shorting.
2) Confirmation bias. What percentage of people out there have either missed the train, or flat out don't believe, and are now coping with "this is a bubble, can't be real"

When wall street manipulates, or when a bloody correction hits, either of these factors could trigger overall bearish markets.

That said, I'll be impressed if we see 4 digit pricing for any prolonged period of time again.
We are all gunna make it

So tempted to jettison everything into IOTA - but knowing that if OMG/BAT/KNC took off and I sold it all, I'd have no choice but to end my life. Suicide deterrent going on.

My feelings regarding my ZEN bag. Bought 45 at over .003 so I could run a masternode. Now just thankful I didn't double down.

Get rich or die trying... right??
Death is impossible for us to fathom: it is so immense, so frightening, that we will do almost anything to avoid thinking about it. Society is organized to make death invisible, to keep it several steps removed. That distance may seem necessary for our comfort, but it comes with a terrible price: the illusion of limitless time, and a consequent lack of seriousness about daily life. We are running away from the one reality that faces us all.
