Anyone try and pull anything off MyEtherWallet recently? I tried to move something to Binance and it hasnt even shown up in the pending of Binance - starting to wonder if I even actually sent the transaction.

No its binance that is the issue.

I sent BTC yesterday to binance to buy some REQ, its taken 24 hours to transfer lol. So it's either BTC network slow AF or binance slow AF. Take your pick.

Their are over 100,000 unconfirmed transactions sitting on the BTC network too

This kind of **** makes me wary of a lot of my holdings. Super dependent on upgrades that increase transaction speed a **** ton. Was going to trade in some more of my stack for more IOTA, but I'm an impulse buyer so hopefully this saves me some money.

Yeah. IOTA's gone from being best friend to putting people on suicide watch to making people if they were a scam and had no real partnerships (there was a coordinated FUD barrage on it, but unlike some I welcome FUD) and now mooning again and holding up in the face of BTC.

After many hours of reading, the only concern I have about IOTA is the unprofessionalism of the devs. They've taken several public potshots at Bitcoin and talk in "commoner" tongue. It's good in a way because they're "real" but honestly, talking about your value and Bitcoin being a fork generator is going to lose you a few friends in the business. The technology is fantastic and truly out there in some respects. i.e. I seriously think this Q thing will be a quantum computing application of some sort considering their hashing algorithm is coded in ternany (vs. binary) and there are occasional references to Qubits.

Also, if this sh*t goes live on Bittrex, expect bank to be made. This is why I'm holding on. Over Dec 18th to Jan - I'm probably going to put my money where my mouth is and dissolve all my BTC. I just don't believe what it stands for anymore. I may reinvest it in IOTA or just use the fiat on some real life sh*t.

Just convert back and forth. The trading fees are probably lower than the transaction fees you're paying when moving BTC around.

If anyone wants to see the IOTA Tangle transactions as a visual representation, check this out. It's fascinating and demonstrates why it's called the Tangle:

http://tangle.glumb.de/

To describe what ternary is: Normal binary processors and code only have a 1 and a 0 state. A ternary processor has an in between state between a 1 and a 0 (3 in total) making it able to process complex math in much shorter times - IOTA uses JINN processors, which are ternary processors. Their hashing algorithm is also written in ternary code. Nobody knows much about them (yet) which is why I'm guessing this is what Q/Qubit announcement may about quantum computing. So yes, it absolutely is a leapfrog product compared to something stale like Bitcoin.
