From my understanding it is similar to Ethereum in it's use cases + has a governance system, and it has a vastly different (superior) business strategy and development process to Ethereum. Their wallet is one of, if not possibly the best one out at the moment too. Cardano is also much more secure by design and proofs, and the structure of their organisation, than Ethereum (remember when Vitalik had a 'car crash'). Cardano is not reliant on the fame of it's devs, nor will it suffer if one leaves for lack of other 'visionaries'. I think many non-tech-professionals underestimate the breadth of considerations when talking about systems/platform security and how Cardano will be far more marketable for serious applications in the future.
more "marketable" for "serious" applications. Again with buzzwordy **** you pulled straight off their website. What does that mean? What have they shown to you thus far that makes you think it is for more "serious" applications? Maybe even define "serious" application?
Do you not think ETH has had security audits?
The only thing that seems better with ADA is their governance system, and that is why Charles left ETH. He was on the business side not the tech. ETH is not lacking on the business side if you take a quick little stop at the EEA website.

Coinbase #1 app now in the U.S. New brahs are kind of fuked tbh, crypto is becoming too mainstream too fast. Bubble forming with all of the noobs coming in who know literally nothing about blockchain.

What a headline:
"Cardano is a decentralised public blockchain and cryptocurrency project and is fully open source. Cardano is developing a smart contract platform which seeks to deliver more advanced features than any protocol previously developed. It is the first blockchain platform to evolve out of a scientific philosophy and a research-first driven approach. The development team consists of a large global collective of expert engineers and researchers"
Just LOL. Just watched a review someone posted earlier, this guy on youtube was shilling it because they are attempting many projects, surely one of them will stick... What a strategy!

Not starting sooner/not knowing about crypto sooner. Didn't know anything until I clicked on this thread last month.
Not investing more from my start when the price was so low. I didn't know anything about the market so I wanted to learn first and get more comfortable.

All of which are very understandable moves.

Hey brahs. Trying to figure out binance.
I have eth in coinbase
I can send in eth using the address. And then use to buy iota. But then when I sell, do I collect cash or eth or bitcoins back from that sell? And To transfer back out to coinbase does it have to be in bit or eth?
Also whatโs the settlement for buys and sells on binance. Because the 8 days on coinbase to clear is torture

I really think we're at the start of the early adoption stage.
What do you guys think the 2018 prospects of LTC are?
LTC is a better bitcoin. I always use it for sending between exchanges now. This pump does seem unnatural though. It's been pretty slow and steady.
Another one I'm looking at.. XMR
[img]https://www.tradingview.com/x/vmrfqFil/[img]
Currently in a falling wedge/flagging out and consolidating the run from earlier this week. Watching this intently.. a close above about 266 area would be confirmation in my mind. You could make a measured move off this pattern which would put us around 320 area if confirmed. Obviously not an exact thing and will depend on market conditions but something I'd like to keep in the back of my mind. XMR moves damn fast when it wants so keep an eye on it!. fundamentally XMR is one of the only coins I think is undervalued and just a solid long term one as well. As always this is not financial advice, just sharing my thoughts.
Thank you sir. Makes me feel a little better.

holy chit I am so over GDAX. First it took 6 fukking days to get my deposit cleared. Then I set an order for btc @ $14.8k yesterday, and it somehow didn't get filled despite it hitting $14.4k. My order is still open, so I went to cancel it, and it wont fukking cancel... so I have neither the btc nor the funds... what in the actual fukc?!?
