Stocks are essentially "real". They are virtual shares of the company.

Crypto was and still is being invented out of thin air. 1300 crypto currencies and counting.

Here's a great post by a guy who has absolutely no idea how many countries governments are propped up and tied to the USD. Hell dude, BTC is even priced in USD!!!! USD not going no where.

its measure of wealth is it's demand, its no different than any finite resource, the new yeezys sell for hundreds, but is there really any value in them other than a few dollars worth of suede, or whatever the fuk they're made with?the power of crypto to me, is not in BTC with its slow protocol and processing, but the ability to send someone money free of a central clearing house and "instantly" is appealing to me,

for example, today Venmo is a common way for kids and young people to send each other money without needing the bank for a cash withdrawal or *shudder* writing a check... crypto for a cash transfer system is a nice system for that. It's also a nice system for paying for things without waiting for "processing" done by the banks, course there is also the drawback of the one way ticket of block chain and reversals etc. but that's another problem that can be solved.

and truthfully above all I'm more excited about other tokenized dApps than I am about BTC. BTC has its use as a store of value, LTC has it's use as the more efficient network for p2p payments. its really the other dApps that could change the world with their distributed ledgers for various things such as ID verification or cloud storage/computing some of these ideas are already working in reality in other altcoins.

but BTC cannot crash and burn until some of these projects come to fruition because of people are scared of the unknown.

Not True. I have bought stuff from NewEgg and puffitup.com with bitcoin. Also a lot of philly devils lettuce delivery services take bitcoin, so I've been smoking for free this past few months on bitcoin profits

It's had many years to take over the retail space, with 0 success.

The only real practicality of Bitcoin is the fact I've been able to buy mind-expanding narcotics over the Onion Network, but other than this convenience (which will be getting phased out in favor for privacy coins like XMR) Bitcoin has absolutelyfailedat it's intended purpose.
