pretty sure the rise in BTC price the past several months is from whales buying in so that they can control the market with futures/capital

Don't be so naive. Just because you don't own any actual Bitcoin with futures contracts it doesn't mean you can't own any Bitcoin. Big $$ could easily take out contracts either way and buy/sell Bitcoin to influence the price.

For the FOMO'ers that are looking for quick BTC but not wanting to wait for verification, use Coinmama. It's legit, the fees are high obviously so keep that in mind. I used it alot back in the summer when i needed some instant BTC to ride chitcoin moon missions

Iota has a nice upward trend. we'll be seeing bigger profits in a few hrs/days just hang tight.

resistance was 28k , which it broke yesterday. Now it's 30k.

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to see if my transactions from MEW even exist anymore? I saw it pop up on EtherScan once today but it is gone now. Put it in ~24 hours ago, coins are still in my MEW.

Once it penetrates $5 I feel it's going to make a bull run for $5.5-6 again, just so much resistance right now.

I doubt that. Do you think they have a good grasp of the crypto market? Regardless, I'll play it safe next week and then, business as usual.

3. That's dumb. You can only make that claim in hindsight. For the first half of 2017, you wouldn't be able to make that claim, since alts massively outperformed BTC.

All of your statements are just looking back and seeing BTC making big moves. Just cause something happened the last 6 months doesn't mean it's going to keep happening in the future. First half of 2017 was completely different from the second half of 2017. 2018 could be wildly different too
I appreciate any difference of opinion. This market moves fast and you might be right eventually....but for now and probably the next couple years I believe BTC is King.

I want to address this one "2. You speak as if Bitcoin is GUARANTEED to go up. If that's a fact, then yes, satoshi's matter. "

Here is the deal.....if your satoshis and your USD go up you are making money. If your USD is up but your satoshis are not you are still making money but not making as much as you could be in BTC. If you are down in USD and satoshis you dun goofed. The point of alts is to beat BTC. If you arent you should just hold BTC.

and this 3. "That's dumb. You can only make that claim in hindsight. For the first half of 2017, you wouldn't be able to make that claim, since alts massively outperformed BTC."

If they massively outperformed BTC then.....well that is my point. You did it right. I didnt mean never buy alts. You can hold them for 2 months if you are still beating BTC..but if you arent then GTFO>

They don't need to understand crypto to exploit newbies - the just need to understand market psychology that's worked for decades. There are so many newbies entering this space and registering on Coinbase.com to click buy on Bitcoin. I'd rather buy Eth right now.

Didn't you once go on a website yourself and click buy Bitcoin though? Just because you're new doesn't mean you're a f*cking retard, lol. 3-4 years ago LocalBitcoins was just as easy to use IMO.

I'd say there's more pessimistic "it's a bubble" people out there than optimists who want to go all-in. There are newspaper headlines like "Economists issue warning about Bitcoin bubble" etc.

People want to see Bitcoin fail and all the ballers go homeless. It makes better news, the economists can call it a bubble and we can all go home and say crypto was a scam.
