Not even tripping I bought all mine at $67 and I don't think it'll go down that far, nor was $400 the bubble I was looking for so I'll just hold.

Edit coinbase is completely down now lol. Is there a better site that doesn't suck total ass when it's time to buy/sell?

That's my main problem with buying in more. Coinbase immediately suspends all trading when it gets too hairy. This is just a normal, slightly heavier than usual day and they've blocked selling/buying LTC and ETH... Just imagine what it will be like when there's a massive selloff.

BRB the whales all get out with billions, while all the bandwagoners can't complete a Coinbase transaction. That's the real scam nobody's talking about.

I plan on cashing out soon, on a normal day. I may miss the peak price but at least I'll be able to do it.

Yeah, I was reading the posts by the guy in the Finance section crypto thread who was trying to sell and ended up close to break even because of the shut down. And I remember them shutting down several times over the last few weeks.

That's pretty disgusting. I don't see why they need to shut down at all. As long as you can still match buyers and sellers, artificially closing the market makes no sense.

i'd like to preface this by stating that an asset class with unprecedented volatility -- such as these cryptocurrencies -- potentially confer an unrivaled IRR relative to vanilla and exotic instruments

the elephant in the room that nobody wants to address is the fact that bitcoin and all these other coins have been propped since their incubator - growth phase by venture capitalists, private equity firms and hedge funds; a far cry from this whole dogma of a decentralized currency traded through a decentralized network

there is a strong conflict of interest at play as all the exchanges are ironically run by the largest market makers and shareholders of bitcoin and the other currencies -- no different than any federal reserve and central bank, except there's 0 regulatory oversight, ostensible or not

trading is and always has been a zero sum game. i wouldn't chase maximum profits when it comes to cryptos, 70-80% of a peak is more than sufficient. you have a 10% chance of cashing out at the peaks, the hedge funds won't allow it and will halt trading, leaving you with no resource
