What if Leia was impregnated similar to Shmi Skywalker?

Presumably Kylo is older than Rey...
Kylo has daddy issues because Han Solo was never around- always taking off.
At some point when Han is gone Han gets cucked by someone and Leia has Rey.
They send Rey off, as a child, to live alone etc.etc.

This could explain a connection between Leia and Kylo and help to explain why she is so much more powerful than Kylo.

in order for this to work, this would have had to been their idea before Carrie passed away, as she was said to have a large role in the 3rd film.
There are 6 cinemas Here in Albuqueruqe, two of them have Imax, and they were all sold out as far back as this past weekend. I managed to get an IMAX 3D showing, on thursday, at 3PM but its a double feature that plays TFA first and TLJ will start at 6pm...I'm not sure I even want to go at 3PM to see TFA again, since i've got things to do other than sit in a theater all day.

Here's IGN's spoiler Free review.

Jq_98dJuIck[/youtubr[
My theater shows classic movies every Sunday @ 2:00pm. 12 movies for $30. It's great rewatching some of the greatest movies such as Fight Club, American Beauty, Taxi Driver, Godfather, Back to the Future etc on the big screen.

THere's a drive in theater near me that shows older movies in double features like how they did in the 60's-80's. It's just great. I saw Army of Darkness and The Shining in a double feature for Halloween.

most common, recurring things I'm seeing:

Rian took huge risks with the movie/story
Feels like a different kind of Star Wars movie, in a good way
They don't answer every question but give interesting stories to the ones they do
Poe has a larger role
Finn and the Asian girl thing is kinda meh
Lots of jokes/humor hit or miss depending on your taste
Huge twist
Plot not predictable/ didn't take easy route
Final 30 minutes is awesome

Just watched it earlier with Dad, gf and cousin. Its definitely a great SW movie.

- Better than TFA. TFA, I came out thinking its a rehash of A NEW HOPE. This is entirely fresh, though some nods to old movies.
- Luke/Leia are badass.
- They said there will be lots of humor, and yes there is, but not as abundant as say, Guardians or Thor.
- one particular galaxy scene is awesome, especially in IMAX
- great battle scenes, both in land and in space
- story doesnt always go as you expect.
- they finally answered some questions about Rey

Also, the movie dont have dragging moments. The 2h 30m flew without me getting bored.

I give it a 7.5/10. Gf loves it more than TFA too(which we rewatched last Wed). Cousin was a bit underwhelmed cuz not much lightsaber fights. Dad likes it.

Excellent movie. 9.5/10. Overall not as superb as TESB, but phenomenal.

I went with the same guy to see TLJ that I did TFA, both opening night.

He hated it. Like, was pissed off at the movie.

No pun, I am in the grey area.. I don't love it or hate it. I am still trying to figure out exactly how I feel about it. I think I went into the movie with so many theories and guesses and ohhh I know what they're going to do..... and when that stuff didn't happen, I was "disappointed" in a way.

But I don't want to judge this movie based on the fact that I was wrong about all my guesses. I feel like I need to watch it again with a clear state of mind and try to take in the story again

Just watched it, I really enjoyed the movie. It was fun

Some stuff i didnt like

Maybe spoilers in the following

- Some of the humor didnt feel right, but I sill enjoyed quite a few of the jokes and even lold at some unintentional ones
- Some dialogue was bad, but tahts normal star wars
- Some stuff was unecessary to the plot and went on for longer than it should (casino side plot)
- Rey's backstory zzzzz just reveal that chit instead of dragging it on

Gonna go watch it again, but so far its a 8/10 for me.

Extremely disappointed.

-A lot of forced humor

-overall plot made no sense

-Finns plot was a complete waste of time. It could be completely cut out and have zero effect on the rest of the movie.

-Snoke and Luke were massively wasted

-more questions than answers

Spoiler!
They really should have given Leia the purple haired woman’s death.

Did I fall for the Snoke hype? Wtf. Most disappointing villain death of all time.

Mark Hamill and the fans deserved a better showing from Luke. When they showed the x-wing underwater, I figured we were going to get another scene of them raising it out of the water so he could leave that planet. Nope. I’m sure he’ll return as a force ghost but we will never got to and will never get to see him fight again.

Rey’s parents are literally no one? Hopefully that’s a misdirection.

Not cuz I like them, but cuz it shows nothing goes according to plan. I was actually expecting their mission is going to save the Rebel scums, but glad to see it failed. Plus its glad to see those animals rescued...

I've heard nothing but bad things about this movie. SJW's love it because of the casino scene and the non-white cast, but anyone who's a true star wars fan seems to think it's garbage.

From all the spoilers I've read, the prequels seem to be leagues better than this disney trash of a movie.

There is a lot of hate for this film from people. I am a Conservative who voted for and supports Trump. f ck SJWs and snowflakes. This movie can be taken without bringing any politics into it.
I'm not going to debate how big of a fan I am of Star Wars but I love it...

This film is getting a lot of harsh, harsh reviews that I think are kind of unwarranted. This movie took big chances on story lines and went in directions no one predicted, as far as I know, online in blogs, vlogs etc.

So damned if you do, damned if you don't. " True " Star Wars fans were pissed that TFA was like A New Hope. What happens? They take a bunch of original, different, ballsy changes and " True " Star Wars fans are mad at TLJ.

Can't please everyone.

Also The Trilogies are meant to be like ACTS.

Act 1, Act 2 , Act 3 of a bigger whole.
This is part of a story, not a stand alone movie.

When ESB came out it was not received with giant open arms at first. The fan base was split and it was globally accepted as, OK, what's next?

Brb Attack of the Clones........

far too much hate for it.

That being said, there is far too much dick riding on this film. I saw nothing but 9/10 reviews of this and I honeselty don't know where these views were derived from. But opinions are opinions.

See it for yourself and form your own opinion.

Same here, I HATE SJWs, but unless I am nitpicking, I dont actually see liberal themes in the movie. Star Wars was always about diverse cast(Hell, there are aliens). Casino scene is loved by SJW? I actually dont see it, unless cuz its Finn and that ugly asian.

Critics and many fans love it. Many fans dislike it as well, but not to the point of hate, they just find it "meh", or just angry at the ending.

So I checked rotten tomatoes.....

Critics Score/Audience Score

Force Awakens: 93%/88%

Last Jedi: 93%/58%

Edit: it’s now down to 57% which ties it with Attack of the Clones for the lowest.
