Generally no.

I have female acquaintances. But they're just people in my social circle. I don't consider any of them my friends.

For the most part, I don't really see the point in having female friends, and this is even though I love female company. I've heard a few guys say that having girls as friends is pretty useful as they'll introduce their friends, but this is overrated. One, it tells me that the guy has trouble getting girls on his own. And two, most girls don't like introducing their friends to guys whom they also don't find attractive.

With the risk of coming off as a sexist, I really don't see why any guy would want/need female friends. Getting along with your male friends' GFs is as close as it gets, really. Girls always cause more trouble than their worth, at least in my experience.
