ehhh....he's ok. I know what he's meant to be - a scheming, master deceiver and manipulator. You can only get so deep with a character like that in a family film.

I'm annoyed that he's considered the strongest Sith "cuz Lucas said so" when Lucas doesn't even know half the EU stuff.

and that is the Darth Vader solo movie, where after 3 and before rouge 1, he hunts down and slaughter his enemies without mercy, An entire movie of Darth Vader striking down the good guys....2 hours of this.

Read the spoilers last night.

I am not watching this movie. Total waste of story potential. I was losing interest when I was just reading about the story. I don't get wet over visuals so easily. It sounds like the movie relies on pretty pictures and "strong female lead" to sell.

It helps with advertising in America. So before the movie is even released, the studios can say, "This is the #1 movie in the world" and other stuff to hype up the movie to get more people in the seats. America is the money maker for these movies.

Characters:
REI is a stupid character. Shes already good at everything. Shes an expert force user, pilot, lightsabre duelist, mechanic, scales walls and all of this WITHOUT TRAINING SINCE THE BEGINNING. What is the point of watching her story when we already know shes gonna be a good guy. Its like watching somebody stream DOOM with all of the cheatcodes on.

The other Asian chick. Why!?

The Last Jedi: (This movie was either 1hour too long or an hour of the movie should have been something else entirely and Disney just wanted to drag it out so they could make more movies)

It seems like the betrayal by [Benicio Del Toro] and the destruction of the rebel alliance could have been avoided if only POE and Fin listened to the blue hair commander. Also the asian chick kissing Fin was cringey as fcuk and the entire sideplot of their adventure was way too long.

In short, the movie had 1hour of nonsense that could have been replaced with lightsabre duels and sith/snoke plot which is what most people wanted to see.

Why did they build up Snoke so much in the previous movie and then just kill him off in this 1? His death was so unspectacular.
