SO bitstamp has bitcoin at 17300 and coinbase at 17600. Why the difference and what keeps people from withdrawing from one exchange and depositing in another and reap the gainz when selling?

he saying it's going to go way up once it breaks that price, so if you are waiting for $16,500, it may never happen.

Also, if you have a buy order at 16,500, whats to say it's not on ts way down instead of its way up, unless you are assuming it's going to recover no matter what.

The difference in prices between bittrex binance etc....and all the Korean exchanges were insane. Korbit had BTC at around 20k while it was trading thousands lower on other exchanges.

The problem with doing this with BTC is the delivery time between transferring from wallet to wallet. By the time your BTC is sent from the lower exchange to the higher exchange, the pricing may change drastically. It's a risk, but it's possible. It's more possible with faster transacting coins though.

As an example of how off these things can be, there was a point where Gemini was $3500 below GDAX in BTC pricing in the last couple of weeks! That was ridiculous.

you can also have currency on both exchanges ready to go and sell on the higher one when you buy on the lower one

$18,150.01 is where the whales are gonna jump in and you wanna be on the ship. You don't wanna be caught with another rejection at $18,150.

Your strategy is to catch an oversold RSI bounce, which is okay (maybe you want to set your order a bit lower though at the double bottom). But I predict higher upside with the stop limit buy order.

This is why you hedge that risk with a short posistion while the coins are en-route.

I did this with litecoin during the litecoin ATH bull run. Bought litecoin at 300 and sold for 370 on different exchange, took 15min to transfer litecoin. Now with bitcoin i wouldn't even risk it. Eth maybe..
