They were bred for fighting? How come the story didn't elaborate on that? They were fighting dogs that she adopted?

Anyway, you can tell how aggressive a dog is likely to be by its appearance. It isn't a coincidence that Labs look nice and Pitt Bulls don't. Pitt Bulls look like dogs that could and would kill you. So no I don't believe that their violent tendencies are a myth.

The risk outweighs the rewards for own a pit. If you the owner aren't able to put it down yourself IF it attacks, you shouldn't own one.

She may have been killed and they want to protect her

So the dogs were found with bloody maws and chunks of flesh in their mouths right? Oh, and lets just plug a one liner that they may have been bred for fighting. This story is pretty weird. Do dogs bred for fighting even go for walks without at least muzzles on?

So the two dogs mauled/killed her and then guarded her dead body from her dad that they surely already knew?

seems weird. Article doesnt really explain a lot, how do they know that the dogs mauled her, was her blood all over their mouths? were the dogs injured at all from fighting off something else?

Anyone else wonder if it could have been
1. another animal/wolves/dogs/bear ect mauled her?
2. dad killed her and said the dogs did it.
3. or someone else killed her and made it look like the dogs did it and thats why the dogs were on edge with dad?


IDK just weird that they said the dogs killed her and then guarded her dead body. And didnt really give details on how they knew that to be true

I never said that. I do believe in nature over nurture with dogs and I don't believe that only bad owners have dogs that are aggressive. I absolutely think that is something that shouldn't be promoted.

The fact that they were bred for fighting has nothing to do with attacking a human. Dogs that are bred for fighting are bred to attack other dogs and must be owner loyal so as not to attack the owner who is putting them in the fighting pit/training them. You're clearly an idiot who doesn't know what he's talking about. You aren't even spelling the breeds name correctly and don't make me fall off my couch laughing at how they look mean and like they could kill you. Fuk outta here with your BS.

If a dog attacks a human, except in very rare cases, they should be put down. The rescue I volunteered with put down dogs that bit people. It would be irresponsible to adopt out a dog with a bite history, especially a Pit Bull.
