It will wear off. I remember my first bull run when OMG went from 3.30 to $11 in a night, i didn’t sleep for almost 2 days because of the adrenaline and constantly checking my phone.

Fast forward to now, my portfolio fluctuates 30-50k daily and it doesn’t phase me in the slightest.

Just bought back into Lumen and XVG(Got really nice profits yesterday)- I promised myself to NOT cash out for mini gains because I always end up buying back in at a higher $ and losing OPTIMAL gains.

Bitmex has 100x leverage, but it is so much more capable than that. Right now perpetual swaps are paying out 1% daily interest if you just short. You can be long coin, short swaps, USD neutral and get paid 1%\day on your balance. Or you can long quarterlies and short swap and get even more aggressive on that... 5x leverage turns that to 5% a day on your initial margin.

I don't expect the max funding rate like that to last though.

If something is in demand and people really want the coin, they will buy from the sell orders, raising the price. But if there are a shyt ton of sell orders (high supply) at market price, then the demand may not be enough...Since there are too many sell orders to get thru.

If you're on binance, click the depth tab on the chart. It's a visualization of the buy and sell orders. You'll be be able to "imagine" how easily the price can go up or down based on the height of the sell/buy walls.

Same here. I got into OMG originally at around $.70 I believe, and then ended up with a cost average of about $1.06. I remember the first time it spiked to $4, and it was crazy. Then it hit $12-14 a few times, and then after the second week of September it just stayed well under $10 and around $7 for a while. So, I've seen the same big ass drops and gains that you have. You'll see $50k+ gain in a day, and then you get smacked back that double that the next day. I'm not too worried as this is long term.

depends how much you have tied up. you can always take out your initial investment and let the rest ride. OMG hasn't even released it's platform, it could go parabolic like NEO when that happens

Cryptobandit was the first to mention BAT. I just did a write up on it a few threads ago. Cryptobandit said that he had 6 figures in it but it was a long term hold. It’s a lot better buy now then it was back then. After the ico, something like 70% of the total supply was held by 3-4 whales. That’s been diluted a lot now. Brendon Eich (the creator) isn’t one to fail, I’m sure BAT will do great when the tech side over takes the hype side of the market (eventually)

Honestly a lot of you new guys should be going back and reading every single post by Cryptobandit. You’ll learn a lot. I used to study the Fck out of everything he said lol.
