Not saying that’s what’s happening here but it could be a short and distort (a reverse pump and dump) where the price is artificially brought down by dumping a large (but relative small to circulation) stock at a high-average value/taking short position and get people panic selling. Then rebuy more on the way up. Usually done with blue chip stocks/solid stuff and can only be done by whales. Riskier since you aren’t selling at ATH but you’re pretty sure it’s gonna go back up.

any prediction on total market cap (overall crypto) where we top out.

Seems like we have so many hedge funds being set up. They haven't really started yet.

Investor money in 2018 will start to pour in. ETFs will cause another flow (if they make it) eventually Schwab/fidelity/Square will probably offer majore cryptos

If this all pans out we are going to 5-10 trillion.

Once it becomes very simple to buy bitcoin/ethereum/XRP/Bitcoin Cash etc then we start to reach mass adoption...and this usually rally hard for a while.

Look at apple/amazon **** has been mass adopted for 10+ years and everyone still buys it up

BCH chart looking very bullish right now. That cup and handle pattern could take us well over 3400.

lol I always laugh when I here this type of shilling,

not worth storing value in it if other project are faster cheaper (trans fees) and infinitely able to scale up.

the only reason why its got the most value right now is because it is first to market and the average smuck hasnt heard of anything else.
But the Wright brothers were first in flight, and I don't see the Wright Corp F22 hailing down freedom onto some poor people.

edit: Anyone thing the people who are dev'ing bitcoin know that they could release a fork and spike the price, so they are letting people fomo in now raising the price until it starts to get too high for the current network to handle and then once its at breaking point, releasing the fork for even more gains?

Cashed out some profits and went to NYC for the weekend with my gf. Was hoping to come back to BTC at $20k. Disappointed. Was nice to step back and take a break from crypto. I was getting way to addicted.

Panic when all the miners flip to BCH and lag out BTC. No way to transact money. I'd expect 2018 we see BCH overtake BTC that will be headline news.

Losing this money won't change the way I live my life but 3-10x'ing it will. I was at the BMW dealer yesterday, almost pulled the trigger on a fully loaded m4. Then I thought of crypto, what if I invest that extra 600 into crypto every month? by the time lease is over, I can afford a lambo with those ROIs!

So why not?

Yea no one was giving you a fully loaded m4 for 600 a month. nice brag though.

on topic: threw a few $$$ into ETH and LTC a few months back. Up big on both but have no idea why....i guess that's what crypto is all about.

So is Coinbase absolute ****? Noob here but if I invest 3k today in ETH and BTC (not sure where to delegate yet) should/could I transfer to a better exchange? I'm still trying to learn the process but I wanna jump in before the New Year where I suspect things will really take another big swing.

****, heart racing and haven't even bought in yet.

Dont buy on coinbase. Register there and buy @ gdax, its their exchange, i believe fees are way cheaper. From there, transfer to another exchange if you want coins other than BTC ETH LTC

Exactly. People just hate BCH for no reason other than Roger Ver's interview with that f*cking douchebag Xotica guy.

Man this one problem is keeping out so much new money

I just witnessed first hand a massive conversation of people wanting to invest but they said they couldn’t afford a whole bitcoin. They don’t know that you don’t need to buy a full one. So they turn to bitconnect and usi tech who sell “btc packs” for like $100.

Fck me.

I think they know, but for many people they want a whole a Bitcoin or nothing. It's kind of like the 99 cents effect but in reverse. They don't want 99 cents, they want 1 dollar.
