oh fuk NEO brahs, we got some juicy FUD:https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoMarke..._found_should/
cliffs: essentially he's saying that the 7 node servers are hard-coded in the code (the values are static not variables)...meaning that if a node goes offline consensus cannot occur and the blockchain will effectively shut down

but this response rebuts the FUD:********************/@MalcolmLerider/p...e-4068b52c520b
cliffs: only 2/3 nodes have to be online for consensus, also there have been times where nodes were offline for upgrades and the blockchain did not shutdown. Also, the 7 hard-coded nodes are system nodes that will kick in as consensus node if the voting algorithm end up with less than 7 consensus nodes

in case you're wondering why NEO went red just now, this is why

What does OMG look like to you, chart wise? Don't need a whole writeup, and if I'm looking correctly does it look like it's going to fall from upward moving trend lines?

This must be bad if you're considering selling your OMG.

NEO looks like it's holding pretty strong around $72 which is where it was this morning. Where is this drop I keep hearing?

My bet is that btc goes sideways for awhile here and the major alts get all the action. These are long term hodl purchases anyway so doesn't much matter, going in cold storage today

No, quite the opposite. Looking somewhere to put my play money to ride out this BTC storm. Probably just going to end up hodling, I think I'm past the level of practicing swing trading, I'm old and stuck in my ways.

If I were wall street I'd sell off another massive stack right now. Two more big red candles and they'll get the panic they are after. That would be a good play for Roger as well.

I agree, if lots of shorting whales dumped right now it'd be the (short term) killing blow and a lot of people would start panic selling. Even I was considering selling after reading CrownBrah's post, and your gif reply didn't help either lol. But I gotta remember what the OG said, "is this going to be the lowest bitcoin will ever be? **** no".

It would be hilarious to see a row of red candles back into the 14K's just to see what the public reaction would be. To be honest, I wouldn't sell even then and I'm not sure many others would either unless they were holding substantial amounts of BTC which really hurt to see the USD value of go down almost 1/5th.

All things considered, BTC is back to 16th Dec value.. not that far off.

It isn't even the technology or anything anymore. It's that the whole HODL you'll regret it when it's at 50K/1 Mil/value of the day is ingrained in crypto culture. It becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Death is impossible for us to fathom: it is so immense, so frightening, that we will do almost anything to avoid thinking about it. Society is organized to make death invisible, to keep it several steps removed. That distance may seem necessary for our comfort, but it comes with a terrible price: the illusion of limitless time, and a consequent lack of seriousness about daily life. We are running away from the one reality that faces us all.
haha Before ya sell look at this..

[img]https://www.tradingview.com/x/uA0Q3N4Y/[img]

It's fighting very hard here to hold this support. If it breaks the resistance trend line then this look like a falling wedge with confirmation to the upside which would likely put us around low 20k area. that's why I say its a no trade zone for me.. Wait for the triggering events and then trade em, right here we don't have confirmation for anything, but we have a very good idea of what to look for.

If we got that upside confirmation then it's a massive long play from a TA perspective IMO. Lots of traders will be market buying just to get in if theres a good close on heavy volume above that resistance trend line.
Please break out. I'm in such a better mood when I make money.

At least my small stack of EOS is kicking ass.

Run read on WTC
Why I Invested in Walton Chain – From an OG

Been in Crypto for a while now, back when Ripple was all the rage. I can still remember the boys at work telling stories of making 1-5K a day while the bull run of April/May was happening.. Ripple was at 12 cents and I was FOMOing hardcore.. easy money! Got in at 18 Cents, 25 Cents, 32 Cents and rode that bitch to the moon and then back into the ground and through the crust and finally resting in a pool of magma deep beneath the Earths surface somewhere feeling like a beaten dog…

BUT the fire inside me had been lit… Crypto was a new amazing space, the swings were intense.. I started researching the top 10 cryptos and what made them, and then the top 20, top 50.

I had changed my process and doubled my fiat to crypto when the streets were a bloody mess and hit some Gems… Coins that interested me at the time were SiaCoin / Golem and Stratus… they had actual use cases to their tech and used the blockchain in some way that I found interesting, A Super Computer?? No Way ! Crypto is amazing… I was finally in the green..

Then I came across Antshares… a small little team with a new branding on the horizon and a major goal to shake up the ICO/Platform Space… The Etherium of China was Born… It was all the rage! I couldn’t believe the Fomo people were having this thing went from $5 to $50 in 1 month… I was on the moon once again.. The excitement and the community was growing so fast, I was scared to put my phone away for the fear I would miss an important update or a nice post from somebody…. And along come TheWolfOfBinance, Sent out a small little message, check out WTC!

Tuned into the reddit at around 200 Subs and I sold about 50 Alts I had at the time kept my NEO, and went balls deep into WTC it was on the move up and fast! Everyone in this small corner of the internet were bashing our brains together to try and find anything on the team or the project that had legitimacy . Every few hours something was popping up, The Dream Team was coming to light… The Scale of the Project was slowly being unearthed and the be founded looks on our faces grew larger by the day that we had stumbled upon a gem so early….

This is why I invested into Walton Chain, I have since sold my NEO and moved it into Walton Chain…. I have a trade stack and a few other promising projects on the side… Walton is my Wife but I do have some side bitches! I am not married to the Coin, I am married to the most promising use of the Blockchain Tech in the Crypto space that I have found yet for real world use. And I am not selling! I might take some gains at a price I like but we are no where near it.
