its just business and numbers at the end of the day....you put emotion into this thinking about sides you lose...

WHEN btc finally scales then everyone will move back

edit: also 200k unconfirmed tx on BTC it will only grow as miners flip

I'm not saying to withhold investment (I have personally with this recent insane bull run though). What I'm saying is not to shift all your assets back and forth constantly unless you meet the criteria I mentioned.

SO BTC is 17800 on Coinbase and $19800 in Binance. Just FYI if you want to xfer and make some free money.

That's what I've been doing with ETH.

Buy on Coinbase @830, xfer to Binance for @930. Once fees are taken out it still ~80$ gain.

Easy to say but deciding whether to stay on alts or btc when both of them are starting to moon is a hard decision. Down the line, one of them will moon higher and it will always feel like you missed out causing people to FOMO.

Agreed. I'm also terrified they'll be right. I don't see BCC taking over BTC anytime soon but I do see them stealing a large chunk of their market. Especially when coinbase finally pays up the BCC they owe holders.

IOTA has been doing the opposite of BTC today. So lets hope btc tanks. 17380 on bittrex. Lets see what asia does with it in a few hours.

Days like this is why I have a day job. If I can get within 3% of where I was yesterday I'll call it a win. Game plan today is hide in alts that get the least beat up by btc.

Quick noob question: if someone wants to trade crypto and make several buys and sells a day, how would you go about paying the taxes on all your gains?

Lol not this again. This has been discussed many times since the 1st thread bro. So many different takes and nobody know exactly how to go about it yet. Best way is to consult a accountant or tax office for this. I think this will depend on how you present it as an income. We should get a better answer once 2018 starts when some of us here starts filing.
BTC update..
[img]https://www.tradingview.com/x/1wrSLi0B/[/img

Not looking good here.. currently failing first level of support. If the 2 hour closes here then next areas of support are 17.1k and 16.7k.
The 16.7k is crucial to hold as it is the long term trendline from the last two breakouts. If it fails with a close under that area on good volume then we'll likely test 14.5k area (small support) and if that fails about 13.1k is MAJOR support.

Binance to CEX.IO still = Gainz. But it may be cheaper and faster to convert to Ether first, since its about the same 13% higher for both at cex.io.

Not a good strategy if you want smaller alts, though.

Pull it all by trading it to a payday loan store then just live off cash and never tell noone you invested.
