Tis the dream. Much easier said than done though. I'm exclusively applying to jobs in the US from now but I don't have much hope but it certainly won't happen if I don't try.

I live in NJ and visit Tampa area just about every year. Have family in the area and usually stay in Indian Rock Beach. I don't really think NJ all that bad besides the taxes and **** gun laws. I live in the pine lands though so it's not crowded and traffic isn't really a thing most of the time.

Usually spend the whole time fishing and or piss drunk when I go down. Would love to move down there and get a flats boat to fish the mangroves.

Weather was kinda chitty a few days but 30c other days

I was there for 5 days. Rained once at night. Last day was chilly in the AM. But no complaints. It was mostly 70's during the day and sunny.

It's like 3 states basically:

South - glitz/glamour/expensive/Latin America/tropical climate
Central - fairly normal, alot to do, blend of north/south, ok climate
North - pretty much the deep south/bible belt, northern climate

What I noticed about Florida is that I was taking a dumb every 30 mins or so, not sure if it's just the change of climate or whatever. And my feet smelled like a 60 year old aged provolone cheese.

I just moved from NJ to Boca a few months ago. My job is about 1/3 outdoor field work so I'm pretty much loving it so far.
