Biggest crime: they managed to give all these new "diversity" characters heroic moments & heroic deaths, meanwhile they killed my ****** Admiral Ackbar offscreen like a chump, then had to explain his death to the audience. They could have easily made him the one to kamikaze the main First Order ship. Missed opportunity

Thought it was ok but after reading this thread and thinking a bit more im not so happy now lol.

I didnt really get Kylo intentions. So he wanted Rey to join him, but to let the past die (as in the resistance) and rule the galaxy with him (with his first order essentially). What did he expect she would say to him.
Kylo was the most interesting character at least, despite us getting no knowledge about knights of ren etc. There should be a movie about that and the burning of the temple.
Finn was useless, yet he still got the girls. Didnt anyone tell Rey about attachments and where that can lead.
Would have been great if Finn made the sacrifice.

My man Ackbar just neglected.

What i did like is the expansion of the lore actually. Really liked the casino planet and red salt one. I felt the little fuzz balls were ok but got a bit annoying. Clearly for marketing.
I also liked he cinematography.

Cool ending but movie just should have been done better. Luke character made useless.

I hated the comedy stuff. Hux undermined immediately with the broken telephone. ‘May the forc’ ‘oh no you say it first lulz’. Wtf is that shiit. Star wars should be serious business. Too much comedy. Wtf is up with bb8 being tickled like its a damn dog or something, it a robot, can it even feel touch?

I just wanted more story. Thought this movie would answer lots but it didnt. Id imagine we wont find out as the next movie i feel will be like 10 years down the line to build up the new rebellion a bit.

Overall, meh.

Edit: and Leia supermaning through space was beyond retarded

I was just pissed at how they handled Luke.

SPOILERS AHEAD for complaint purposes:

Im not on board with him suddenly just deciding hes going to kill Kylo in his sleep then running away to die (while leaving a map with R2...of course...why if he really wanted to die alone out there) it just makes no sense to his character at all. Hes got access to the force ghosts of Obi Wan, Yoda, Anakin etc and still cant figure out what to do about his nephew who hasnt even manifested any dark side yet, but Luke just sees it in him and freaks the phuck out without even consulting the wisest jedi of the ages? So he just flips out and decides to kill him like an assassin in his sleep...lol ok.

Then of course the SJW gayness, but I came in expecting all that, purple hair bitches in charge and every white male on the bad guys side, one hero of each race, etc... ho hum. White men are evil and girl power! cant make a movie in 2017 without those elements.

They missed the golden opportunity to let Leia die in peace after Carrie Fischers real life death, but no...had to do the supergirl Leia thing and defy all reason... then they kill off Luke instead who could and should have had alot more to give.

For entertainment value it was ok with the battles and action and effects, but for me the story just isnt going anywhere anymore, these phuckers are just stamping out movies based on the formula of the original trilogy- the force awakens was a clone of New Hope, the last jedi was off the blueprint of Empire... its all just so cookie cutter and un original.

People saying this was the best Star wars movie yet, are clearly delusional, or easily distracted by flashy effects and poor writing. It s easy to just sit back and be entertained, but if you grew up on Star wars and actually care about the characters in the original movies this whole rehash has been a sore disappointment.

They better really come around and explain the whole Snoke character next film, because at this point everyone interesting is dead.

Hux is another poor villain anyways, but then they had that ridiculous pocket dial comedy. I heard Poe even made a "your mom" joke that I must have missed.

Kylo and Rey were implied to have developed a connection through their Force Skype calls, but their plot felt rushed. I'm starting to understand people who say this felt like a finale. The whole plot twist on Snoke seems like something that'd be in Episode 9, and at the end Kylo would just turn neutral and disappear. It was similar to Luke & Vader, but that developed over almost 3 full films.

Basically a mix of cringe & boring moments with a couple funny and exciting ones. Gave me a prequel vibe for sure.

It kinda made sense after he talks about how he let his success go to his head. He was LUKE ****ING SKYWALKER the one who was able to bring Darth Vader back from the dark side. He was so full of himself about how he was able to do that he got cocky and thought he could make a new jedi order. Then when he sees one of his apprentices might be going to the dark side he flips his **** because hes LUKE ****ING SKYWALKER, HOW COULD HIS APPRENTICE EVEN THINK OF GOING TO THE DARK SIDE! His faliure as a master wasnt even something that he was considering at that point, but more that Ben was just that far lost and if he couldnt bring him back to the light nobody could, might as well kill em.
Or maybe I just read more into what happened and he just stupid lol.

The mom joke was in the beginning when Poe was talking to Hux and joking like he had a poor connection.

It is interesting that a great number of paid critics gave the film good ratings but word of mouth from fans and youtube reviews are piss poor.

even if you are a libcuck, you can't argue objectively that this is even a good star wars movie

at least TFA was somewhat enjoyable if you're a cuck. I didn't like it that much, and I was upset about the way they treated Luke, but they left it open to become better. And Han had to die for contractual reasons. I thought the script was a bit weak, but honestly, they did a passable job. My gripes with TFA were more because of the extended universe not being canon anymore. I was open minded about it though, and I can say that barring the SJW chit, it was at least a decent movie even though it recycled everything from ANH.

This is not the case with TLJ. TLJ sucking this much ass has actually ruined TFA as well, since TFA being good was contingent entirely on how they resolved Luke's plotline. They have now completely crapped all over the memory of Luke Skywalker. I will no longer consider any Disney films as canon. Phuck their attempts at ruining Luke Skywalker.

Even attack of the clones was better than TLJ. At least we got that awesome lightsaber battle with yoda. This movie had what? Superwoman Leia? just lol
