See the strength of those market caps? See the insane growth especially recently? Privacy coins have always and will always be in demand. One of cryptocurrency's oldest attractions was anonymity. Privacy will always play a strong role in crypto.
- ZEN is NOT currency. It is a PLATFORM. ZENcash is the form of currency. They are working on other interesting things such as:
1) ZenPub- IPFS secure and anonymous document publishing. Think Wikileaks or Snowden.
2) ZenHide - domain fronting. Allowing you to access ZEN under the guise of another website such as Walmart.com. Could be used to bypass government firewalls (China), bypass school/work firewalls, or even just simply access your ZEN wallet anonymously even if it's not blocked.
3) ZenTalk - anonymous private messaging to go along with transactions.
- Charles Hoskinson, former CEO and co-founder of Ethereum is a strategic advisor. Has a research and development company called IOHK. ZEN is finalizing a contract to have IOHK work with them.
- Only on one exchange. A massive pitfall, but means significant upside with even a single exchange listing (Binance?). Actively working to get more listings, Rob has said 2 exchanges are in the pipeline to be announced. Probably next year is my guess. Perhaps intentionally delayed to intertwine with rebranding? Just speculation.
- Unique secure node set up. Stake 42 coins and get monthly rewards. That's not the important part though. It helps ensure privacy and resiliency of the network with end to end encryption.
- Secure node architecture can be built on top to do other things. Like what? I can't even comprehend tbh, but it sounds exciting.
- Possible smart contract integration?
- Better funding model than Zcash. This is overlooked imo. Will help ensure the team has money to grow and operate down the line.

The closest coin that has similar capabilities to is monero a 7 bill mcap

Now a week ago i said to myself "You know Contribution05, you have faith WTC will be huge in a couple months, who cares if BTC crushes it's SAT value, $7 is a bargain, and who cares if the big news is still ways off and it bleeds, just put money towards it each day." And here we are, WTC just going higher and higher making me not want to chase it even though I don't have the amount I want yet.
