it is quite big, having played ~10 matches it seems like there are areas of the map no one will ever go so they should just be cut out. of the 10 I played I had 2 where I was top 15 before I saw my first person while moving the whole time

Yeah like yesterday I was playing with them, game crashed and I landed in the most random place. Just grabbed a bike and drove completely across the map to the rest of the squad and didn't see a single person. Legit no mans land for 70% of the map.

for sure, I really like the style of the map something is just off about it. I'm still not quite on top of end game circles yet, seems like high ground is god being there is very minimal cover

Hmmm I have to disagree with the rest of you, I feel like the new map is smaller. The main problem is that there's a lack of cover between cities so you'll have to get there fast.

Also FPS is higher, game runs smoother.

How do you feel that it is smaller? It is physically larger due to not as much water. Plus having the difficult terrain to travel through makes it feel even more larger. Basically the bike is the best vehicle to travel with if you aren't taking roads.

truck and bus are straight garbage on the new map

too many bumps, not enough acceleration on the two

buggy/2 seater bike goat

im digging the new map. lots of buildings yes, but its something different than erangel. also los leones GOAT drop zone

I love it when people say that the game "only" lags/glitches at the beginning when you land, as if landing wasn't a really important part of the game. If you land in a populated area, lagging out out and rubber banding all over the place for the first ten seconds sure can **** up your entire match.

Running like chit for me. Takes forever to get to the fking lobby and if I ever tab out I get this "please update to 3.5.5" glitch and have to restart the game. Tried every community suggested "fix" since the dev is on radio silence and none of them worked.

i had that also and this worked for me:


Delete the "TslGame" folder AFTER making a copy of -
C:\Users\*username*\AppData\Local\TslGame\Saved\Co nfig\WindowsNoEditor\GameUserSettings.ini

some people claim that just spamming ESC button helps also, cannot confirm.

Tried that, spamming esc, redownloading, fullscreen windowed, and verifying integrity and nothing has worked so far.

Ya there was no point in pulling it out of Early Access if they weren't going to fix any issues on the test server. In fact it only introduced more issues.

Reminds me of pokemon go (no homo) and the busch league way they handled it for months after.

yeah I kind of agree. The test server did have tons of improvements felt like a huge overhaul but it still has terrible bugs. And especially when you consider this game wants to become big in e-sports you can't have these kind of bugs in the game

That's the same for me, aside from the occasional landing lag, everything else definitely feels improved.

The new m249 LMG is amazing, my new favorite gun in the game.

New map is just so bad. It needs more dirt roads and buildings closer together. Feels like they're just showing off how much money they spent buying different assets without any consideration for how these giant lootless spread out warehouses impact game flow.

i liek the map but as far as blending in with cover yeah... not much to work with. but ive had some good luck in most places with loot tho
