Childfree

How many of you are going for a childfree way of life ?

My ex had a bby a couple of months ago and she contacted me saying how she now realizes why i never wanted kids ....lol at her retarded ass.

Personally i don't see any benefit in having kids in this day in age, they seem like nothing more than a financial burden as well as a waste of a good life

Wife can't have kids and we accepted that a long time ago. Yes, we looked at adoption but cost is fuking outrageous regardless of how good of thing it is to do.

We're pretty happy not having kids. My parents don't really care because my younger sister had a kid but my wifes father is a real piece of ****. Fuker gave her the line "well, why do I need to go out and doing anything with my life? It's not like I have a grand kid to keep living on for." She cried a lot over that comment and ever since then, I wouldn't be upset to find out he's drank himself to death or eaten a bullet. He supposedly made it sound like he was going to kill himself a couple years ago when her mom came into the living room and found him playing with a shotgun...drunk and babbling about wanting to shoot the TV and then "joked" about shooting himself. I'll be glad when he's gone...he's just as disgusting and toxic as his father was.

Ahhhh nothing like the misc to bring about the nihilist point of views. Who was family? What is making life bigger than your own? Let me tell you from person experience being a father is hard. Being a husband is possibly more difficult. The rewards of family and a generation you create... Das it. Das it. There is more to the world than you. If banging 10/10HBB is all there is to life... Can't afford a kid so why would I have one. Average cost to raise one until 18 is $250k, with college degree that's at least $300k until they're able to support themselves financially. Lmao if you're on anything less than that Doctor salary time and having kids with the price of everything going up these days

My bro in law and sister can't have kids. Well. Maybe they could with invitro.. But no bro do you! If you are happy solo. Be solo. I mean that 100% I did enjoy my days being alone. But for me things changed. All I am saying is don't knock it till you try it.. In the case of making a kid there isnt a refund. Not all people have kids and that's okay. I'm only speaking for myself.

I was headed that way with my ex-wife--neither of us wanted kiddos, too focused on careers and education (and later booze, for me)... After that ended, I got my current GF pregnant--I was 38... scared me to death. Everything was fine in the beginning, I'd accepted that I was going to be some little boy's 'old man'--nervousness and anxiety turned into excitement and curiosity.

Sadly, we lost the little guy about 22 weeks into it. It was terrible all around as we had to go through the birthing, knowing that he had passed... I was fortunate to have had the chance to hold him in my arms--and it was then, as I looked at him, that I trulyunderstoodthe feeling of having something so delicate that you would trade your own life to protect. Even though he was gone, he was a part of me, and I made a promise that I would keep moving forward with my life, striving to become a better person--mind, body and spirit.

The brief moment I had with him changed my life forever--he would be two right now--and I often wonder what my life would be like with him in it. Then I remind myself that heisin it--with every positive step I take towards the promise I made to him.

Not everyone should have kids but unfortunately many of the people who shouldn't have kids, often do.

I have a 5 month old and it isn't easy. You can't be a selfish person and have kids. They always come first.

30 here, child/divorce free! Feels good brahs, make close to $200k, out-work out-hustle all the "dads" out there. Don't have time for kids, need to add real value to this world.

Maybe when I'm 40 and have a 25 yr old wife and big goals accomplished/millions in the bank.

The best people of this country need to have kids to a least attempt to balance out the overpopulation of human garbage.

Think about it. All the low lifes sucking up welfare are reproducing waaaaay to much. More so than the folks who have a better environment and reasources for raising children who will be contributing members of our society.

Unfortunately the ones who say "eh, not sure I want kids" are the ones who, in my opnion, are best able to raise healthy children.

It is what it is. Overly generous social programs will come back to bite future generations.

Still if you don’t want them you should not have them ...not everybody is cut out to experience all phases of life.

Those who have children can comment on both sides (they have been both childfree and parents) and those who don’t can only comment on being childfree
