Heres my prediction for January. This is just a tin foil hat theory and not financial advice whatsoever.

Everyone thinks tax sell off will happen Jan 1, but tax sell off actually happened during the crash a week ago and was coordinated. Heres why i think this.

Under U.S. Tax law, you are not allowed to sell stocks/securities and write a loss and re buy them within 30 days, this is called the wash rule. If you do, you don't get the loss deduction and the loss will just be applied to your new cost basis. Therefore, aint no body selling on Jan 1. But wait, crypto is not a stock/security? That is correct, crypto is not considered a security and not under this rule. However under the tax law you are not allow to sell/buy things just to get a tax break (economic substance rule), this is a grey area rule that you will have to prove to the IRS, and the IRS usually wins. BUT, under the economic substance rule, this is not stated but, rebuying in 7 day for crypto is reasonable and you will be able to avoid the wash rule and most likely IRS will allow you to deduct.

So what will happen in the near future? Whales did a sell off last week to get the benefit of 2017 tax rates last week and will rebuy on Jan 1 or end of this week. This is a reasonable time frame to avoid the economic substance rule.

And what is happening now? U.S. whales will suppressed the big 3 prices until they can get back in (this mean BTC trading sideways and alts flourishing). During this time, whaleswill be playing with alts (as seen this week) because alts will not affect the wash rules or economic substance rules as its a different asset compared to BTC.

What y'all think?

Edit: one flaw to this theory after i wrote this, no whales are selling for a loss lmao.

However i still think that sell off was to recognize the gains in 2017 when the rate is cheaper than 2018.

For once 4chan didn't screw me over and I ended up doubling my money on both BNTY and Payfair.

For brahs who don't know about Payfair (PFR). It's a decentralized escrow platform for making transactions between two parties. It has a marketcap of 3 million and circulating supply of 86,000,000. It's on etherdelta. Get in before it moons more brahs.

Well boyos, ripple has a higher market cap than bcc again. Ripple will soon overtake Eth and be battling for first against bitcoin next year. Anyone who doesn't see this coming with the coinbase addition and the partnerships to come. Is only going to miss out

Is buying NXT for the free Ignis tomorrow worth it? Looks like NXT is in a dip but also likely only pumping to where it was because of this. I can see myself ending up holding bags of Ignis and NXT.

My feels. I had a good amount of ripple. Sold it off for 3x profit at 76 cents. Now I'm mad at myself. It's got such a massive circulation so I though it if does go high it would be a long way off. I'll get back in when it drops. But it's not. Was going to buy more Bitcoin but now thinking of going deep and holding the Ripple bags again. I need more fiat. What a game this is.

Looks like a pretty legit coin brah I'm really tempted even though I've never really had any interest in ICOs.

Only things that concern me are:

1. No plans to expand market to the US until like fkin 2020

2. Their 1 pager says "Utility tokens are used to purchase carVertical services and get paid for joining services; thus, we consider it as a currency." Does this mean that youre gonna get 1.5 Eth worth of carvertical services? That'd be like fkin burger king saying "contribute $1000 to our IPO and you will get $1000 worth of cheeseburgers when our business launches!" Am I interpreting this wrong?

Interesting. This seems more logical (or any other outcome driven reason) than to just crash crypto.

ICO Announcement and latest Suppoman Shill ICO. 1 day left for participation.

Spoiler!

Whitepaper Summary BDG

It can be seen as Udemy but with additional features. Companies, Experts or private “Teachers” can create courses with content. Students get paid by learning / taking those courses. Goal of the whole project is among others to teach people certain skills which are needed RIGHT NOW without wasting time and money on our outdated educational system. For this reason companies can create specific courses with specific criteria for potential students to enroll in i.e. New York – Basic knowledge in HTML etc. Students which meet those criteria can enrol in those classes and get paid to finish them. To ensure that they don’t goof around, BitDegree will include a Proof of Study. This is basically verification for all courses hosted on the platform and includes mechanisms like tests, problem solving, creative assignments and others.

To ensure a pleasing learning experience BitDegree aims to restructure the basics of how we learn. As studies suggested (which are listed in the WP), people tend to remember 4x more when learning subjects through gamification than through reading itself. Doing it this way will motivate students to use the platform even more due to additional payments of BDG tokens when completing courses, while becoming a skilled professional company desperately search for. A use of the platform can ensure people are learning up-to-date material taught directly by companies or experts which furthermore can directly lead to a job position in their area of interest. The main economic fuel will be Sponsors, which are those in search of new talent. Those sponsors will pay a certain amount of money in BDG Tokens available for their course, which will be spent on participants which take the course and successfully finish it.

“Corporate and private employers, HR companies, government and nongovernment organizations, other talent acquisition and talent growth structures/agents will be buying tokens to initiate, fund and create courses, establish scholarships and other rewards targeting exact topics and areas of study. For the spent tokens, Sponsors will be able find, train and recruit talent”
I don’t know how many people of you work in the HR, but I know that it’s damn hard AND expensive to find quality employees these days. To clearly see the need for this problem, the WP states the following:

“The amount spent by a U.S. company to fill an open position approaches 4,000 USD and the entire recruitment market is over 200 billion USD worldwide. We do not doubt the fungibility of t h e BitDegree Token.”

So companies basically can produce THEIR OWN course with THEIR specific needs and pay a fraction of their usual hiring/marketing costs to find new highly skilled employees.

Annotation: I mainly focused on THEIR main focus, which are bigger companies who look for skilled employees. There are other areas which include individual experts making courses (like Udemy) who get paid BDG to do so. Sponsors however will be the biggest revenue stream since they are the one keeping the coins in circulation by buying and spending them.

Last Suppoman ICO Shill was BQX, rebranded to ETHOS which went from 0.03$ to now 2.52$ - A 8400% GAIN (1k in BQX ICO = 84.000$ now (in about 5 months))

Latest video about his "All in ICO" -https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7lx3FiOv3Vg
His course where he reveals it is on his Udemy for 10$. I can ensure it's BDG, if you want to have a look for yourself you can invest those 10$ it won't hurt lol)

Is this a shill? Probably.
Will I gain something out of this wall of text besides possible referral users? No. Pre-sale bonuses were limited to 15%-10%-5% and I didn't bought in in time, waited for the confirmation that it's the secret ICO of Suppoman.
Is Suppoman annoying af and will he shill this **** into eternity? For sure.
OG Miscers have already invested in it with remarkable amounts, so I'm being dead serious here (srs)

His course where he reveals it is on his Udemy.

For sure.

To the moon we go.
Stane is it possible for US users to get in on this?

I've lost 3 friends the last couple of years. Just minding their own business. Boom dead. Half the drivers here are old and blind, the other half are literally looking at their phones going down the street.
I've had two other friends get hit and survive but lose their leg above the knee. That's the problem with riding, when you have an accident, you're dead or you're different. Not so sure I want to play the odds anymore..... More fiat for more Crypto. I'll never stop loving the feeling of riding, but a Ferrari would certainly make my broken heart feel better.

This right here.

I'm concerned alot of normies gonna get burned on XRP, it's value is inflated as hell right now and people think they are investing in Ripple, but XRP doesn't have to succeed for Ripple to succeed. also the 55 billion locked up are making the circulating supply more valued than it should be. once they start releasing these in 1 billion amount per month XRP is going to lose it's relative value to USD.

If you're holding XRP brahs, pay real close attention to those locked up coins and whether the partnerships Ripple has attained have actually agreed to use XRP as the currency for the ripple fintech.

edit: its those partnerships that agree to use xrp that are the important key factor for it's continued growth, no matter what flashy tweets the dev share with new partnerships if they are only agreeing to the fintech portion there's no basis in the value of the XRP.

not a fud post, but reality on the price of the coin once the honeymoon phase wears out.

Any us brah trying to get in BITDEGREE ICO, you can use a vpn service (cost like $5 a month) just cancel after a month. Once token is delivered to your wallet it doesn’t matter if you are us resident or not

See, now my feels are better, I feel foolish at time for selling my Ripple stack and tripling my money, then I read this stuff and it makes me feel like I made the right decision. Either way it's done, but I debate buying in once again, yet at these prices, I don't think it's prudent. There would be gains yes, but not massive gains, I think the ship sailed on it.
Crypto will make you doubt yourself more than anything in your life. It's like a cruel mistress or some ****. But I love it just the same.

I'm trying to get in on the ICO. I just can't figure out how to do it as a US resident. Do I use a VPN, then have to create a new wallet?

agree, the supply numbers don't make any sense to me. I've always been thinking I've been missing something though.
