Because the landscape has been created where not only a white male is the most criticized, despised--while secretly envied--among minority groups but even where white people themselves are being told to be guilty and ashamed of themselves for events multiple generations in the past they had nothing to do with. The better question is why did white culture allow themselves to be walked all over? We all know the despicable movements responsible for this. Every group if you have any historical knowledge has blood on it's hands yet Western media only remind everyone of what white people did. For example, most idiot humans think slavery is just something white people did to Africans awhile ago, just the mentioning of slavery will ignite that one part in history - yet these idiots don't even know as we speak a lot of the world is still practicing slavery.

There's still this idea that being white is an automatic win in life yet mainstream media and laws do everything to give every other group a step-up regardless if they worked for it or not. Even when groups have no discrimination from anyone that matters, FULL support of their government and preferential treatment they will still blame white people/racism when their life is ****. No discipline and responsibility, so find a scapegoat and what better than the over-worn racial reason? White guilt is so nonsensical, yet if you had someone declare out loud "I am proud to be white" all instant thoughts will turn to Nazi, racism, Hitler - this is how easily influenced idiots are.

White culture is expected to be flexible, to be tolerant, allowed to be held accountable in public, have to "bite their tongue" when shamed, while every other cultures and groups are praised for standing it's ground, being "proud" all while being allowed unearned concessions. No, the race debate is the biggest mirage of facts and reality - contradictions and hypocrisy at every corner. Nothing will solve it until we get into the age of androids and avatars, that's why I try to not become too emotionally invested in debates.

Western culture has eliminated all the main inhumane practices, while the rest of world still has them but yet they are still having historical events hung over their head. Why? For power, for leverage, victimhood, exuscatory mindset. Just like a stupid parent blaming a test being too hard and that it's not their child's fault for not studying/being smart enough. You see this with feminism, where there is NO need for it in a first world country yet they will try paint a picture like every male is running around raping women and telling their wives to stay in the kitchen.
Just the same with racism, it's misrepresented in all media because that is what sells. All these people fighting for "rights" and the rest of the world is going "Rights for what? No-one is fuking stopping you anymore but yourself". Besides socio-economics plays the larger role for things like racial related crimes, but no-one ever goes over that. Many groups have a bad culture that THEY are responsible for only--proven by historical evidence and raw statistics--but we're never allowed to ever mention this - it has to be someone elses fault.

TLDR: Because that's how it exactly is. Mud slinging a group that's actually the most tolerant, most giving, less racist and puts in the most effort of any other group to try remove all these social issues.

It's often touted that multiculturalism has failed when in reality it's mainly one group that has failed to integrate as well as others and even that is a generalisation.

The USA is if anything proof that multiculturism can work. USA is the melting pot of cultures, Irish Americans, Pennsylvania dutch, Italian Americans, Hispanic Americans etc.

But yes it can work, and it also cannot. It works when the foreign groups are actually thankful for the opportunities given to them by another country and try respect that homeland culture - and in return that country will let them practice what they want as long as it does not infringe or alter their deserved ideologies/lifestyle. Having groups commit FLAGRANT offenses, having severe disrespect for their new country should never be tolerated. You're here to prosper because your previous country is a mess, don't start whinging and spitting; be grateful, work hard and no-one will ever have a problem.
