Meritocracy is dead under these circumstances.

On 24 September 1965, President Lyndon B. In the U.S. affirmative action's original purpose was to pressure institutions into compliance with the nondiscrimination mandate of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.[15][71] The Civil Rights Acts do not cover veterans, people with disabilities, or people over 40. These groups are protected from discrimination under different laws.[72]

This is government force and government force in NOT allowing whites freedom of association.
If forced segregation (by government) is bad, why is forced integration good?

We weren't talking about government action until now. That too is an institutional decision. The federal government, through elected officials, put into office by the national populace, made a decision on a particular issue. If you disagree with the decision, your recourse is through the political process. The world is not going to bend to your will because you disagree with the path on which society is heading. If you disagree with the laws on the books, do like you did in November of 2016, and go vote.

Is it possible to serve and protect in a fair and objective manner if you're part of a group that believes (and you also deeply believe that) some people are inherently better than others?

Yes, you disagree with it. But for every one of you, there's someone (or more than one person) that agrees with it. And some people even argue that affirmative action isn't doing enough, that it should go farther.

I have some questions for all you white guys who feel discriminated against:
Do you think African Americans (going back generations) are Americans on the same footing as you?
Do you think a Chinese, or Indian, or Hispanic that was born here (legally) is an American on the same footing as you?
Or do you think your say should mean more than their say because they are not white christian Americans?

If the privilege wasn't enough, now they want to be victims too?
Who is discriminating against them? Since minorities aren't in positions to, it would have to be OTHER WHITE PEOPLE, you can't make this stuff up, they're literally victimizing themselves just to be part of the oppressed crowd lol

Literally anyone can be discriminated against, but this idea that the white population is being "systemically" discriminated against is total BS. I feel like these people are watching a far left, liberal, social justice warrior, attacking them, and then they feel like their race is being discriminated against and under attack. Like this never happened to minorities in much worse ways, than online attacks.
2017: Brb, Buzzfeed, and TYT blaming White men, lets cause a scene, and claim major discrimination.
Also, they act as if Neo-nazis, and far right racist groups don't exist lol. Beyond that, generally speaking, I don't know how anyone could argue that minorities are less discriminated against than Whites on average.

This entire paragraph is meant to muddy the waters. The question is simply this: Are white people being discriminated against? The answer of course, is yes. It doesn't matter if other people have also been discriminated against, or if they had it worse. I'm not really going to argue against, black people "were" **** on, although so were other races throughout history to include white people. If you believe discrimination based on race is wrong, then you should be against discrimination against white people. It doesn't matter what "some" white people did throughout history. What matters is consistency. If it's wrong to discriminate against black people based on their race, then the same is true for all groups. Anything else is hypocrisy.

I've noticed this same train of thought you seem to be stuck on from feminists. You seem to think that someone saying "White people are experiencing racism/discrimination" somehow takes away from what other groups have dealt with. It doesn't. Feminists seem to think that saying "Men have issues" takes away from women also having issues. It doesn't. Both can be true simultaneously. Why you seem to want to turn it into an oppression Olympics, and claim "Well we had it worse so white people should stop whining" is pretty questionable (I know you didn't use those exact words, but that seems to be the general vibe).
Tell me: Does white people being discriminated against threaten your victimhood?
**Edit**
Tell you what, I'll go one better and answer your question with another question (while simultaneously answering yours):
Do you think the fact that these groups are not "on equal footing" with white people is due to discrimination, or could there be some other reason?

Why you seem to want to turn it into an oppression Olympics, and claim "Well we had it worse so white people should stop whining" is pretty questionable (I know you didn't use those exact words, but that seems to be the general vibe).
Tell me: Does white people being discriminated against threaten your victimhood?
So how exactly are 2017 White's being discriminated against beyond some online social justice videos?

Your analogy is Apples to Oranges anyway. You cited the example of white "slave owners" and their slaves. So yes, a slave has a right to hate their owner. That doesn't confer the right for all black people to hate all white people. You are taking the specific and generalizing it.

Here's a real time example as to what results when professional standards are lowered:
Less well-educated Doctors are proportionantely more likely to prescribe opiods. Not saying this is racially based, but the data can be extrapolated out to the concept of AA. Lowering standards will result in lower quality of service.

You wouldn't? I mean if you don't like America, feel free to leave, but African Americans enjoy the highest standard of living of any Africans in the world.
So welfare from tax paying whites to poor whites = needed help. And welfare from tax paying whites to poor blacks = reparations?
What about welfare from tax paying blacks to poor whites? I pay my taxes. And a good chunk of it goes to federal programs that benefits more white people than black people. That ain't fair.
Not for welfare in general, but they can be considered a form of reparations.
Blacks are a net negative in America in terms of taxes collected, see:
http://thealternativehypothesis.org/...and-hispanics/
Do you understand proportionality? I'm not saying that to be rude, but are you trying to compare similar numbers of people using welfare TOTAL without taking into consideration that there are 5x as many whites in America?
https://borgenproject.org/worst-coun...n-trafficking/
I see whites, blacks, asians, hispanics, and arabs on that list.
Human trafficking is different than slavery, although if you want to lump it together, that's fine, but precision with language should be strived for
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...=.4eb60f3a68ce
Slavery is a far larger issue in the middle east, Africa and Asia than Europe.
My whole point is that slavery is painted as a black on white issue, there are other groups that were involved and did it just as large, this is a lie that is sold in an effort to stir hatred towards whites while DIRECTLY ignoring real facts.
Are you saying the government is forcing Harvard to integrate?
We weren't talking about government action until now. That too is an institutional decision. The federal government, through elected officials, put into office by the national populace, made a decision on a particular issue. If you disagree with the decision, your recourse is through the political process. The world is not going to bend to your will because you disagree with the path on which society is heading. If you disagree with the laws on the books, do like you did in November of 2016, and go vote.
Now you're conflating private and public, but it is good that you admit that the law of land trumps all.
Do you agree with total freedom of association (I can deny service or hire whoever I want)?
http://www.slate.com/articles/news_a...ustrating.html
1.Blacks also commit more crime, should there be any correlation between crime and how often your car is searched or should the higher correlation be between population distribution?
2.More crime goes on in black neighborhoods, should we not expect these numbers or are you now going to not like when I give you YOUR OWN logic of "if you don't like it, VOTE! Run for office!!!"?
3.They can't afford to pay bail, ok and? What do you want to say with this? Should someone else pay it?
4.Ok and again? Do they HAVE to take it? As far as I'm aware, this is a negotiation process.
5.What happened to the law being just or you running for office to change things? Or are we not doing that here either?
6.Court behavior and ability to afford representation come to mind as not being considered.
7.Maybe don't commit more crime than everyone else?
8.Not sure about this, so I won't comment as I don't know how probation works
/////
Now let's talk about whites living under blacks:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Land_r...h_and_outcomes
The programme also left another 200,000 farmworkers displaced and homeless, with just under 5% receiving compensation in the form of land expropriated from their ousted employers
/\ Theft of white owners property by the government, nothing to that scale has occurred in America
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_...ic_Empowerment
Discrimination SOLELY based on skin color (South Africa is poorer in just about every regard today than pre Apartheid too, so it's not as if it has "worked")
I'm genuinely curious as to how you answer this:
Would you rather be an African American or a White Zimbabwean/South African? Why?
If you're not trespassing on private property, being disruptive, violent, or otherwise breaking some law, then you have the right to associate with whomever for whatever reason. It gets dicey when you hold a position where you're supposed to serve and protect the public.
Is it possible to serve and protect in a fair and objective manner if you're part of a group that believes (and you also deeply believe that) some people are inherently better than others?
Actually you don't, you cannot deny service to people for any reason, this is why there are now "racist dress codes":
https://img.gawkerassets.com/img/17q.../ku-medium.jpg
This sign wants to say one thing and one thing only, but that's against the law so you have the sign.
Why should any other group serve and protect anyone else? By your own logic, this is the fault of the individual and group, THEY should take action/vote and get involved etc.
Ultimately though, you're trying to imply that whites think this or that this is a common belief which is laughable because even you don't really believe this, otherwise you would be pushing for separation between the races or maybe you just think whites are racist and they need to work on it more (obviously the past work hasn't been enough, but with a bit more work, I'm sure things will magically come together right?).
So which is it?

Who is discriminating against them? Since minorities aren't in positions to, it would have to be OTHER WHITE PEOPLE, you can't make this stuff up, they're literally victimizing themselves just to be part of the oppressed crowd lol

As for your question, it's not just some random SJW videos on the internet (although those do in fact have some measure of affecting hearts and minds of the young). College professors are pushing this **** in universities. Even school teachers are pushing leftist narratives on kids. It's all Cultural Marxist dogma being pushed, and the oppressor class in said dogma is the White Male. Furthermore, the MSM also pushes the same nonsense, and defends these Marxist professors when they make completely outlandish statements, like the recent professor who finally resigned after he claimed "All I want for Christmas is white genocide". But yeah, white people aren't being discriminated against, we just have professors who want us all dead teaching this **** to students.
Even if I agreed that the current discrimination against white people is fairly petty and trivial ****, the indoctrination being foisted upon the next generation is already rearing its ugly head with the SJW crowd.. Antifa is comprised of anti-White, Communist asshats who run around larping as revolutionaries, committing violence. The next generation of this crap isn't going to be trivial.

Also, they act as if Neo-nazis, and far right racist groups don't exist lol. Beyond that, generally speaking, I don't know how anyone could argue that minorities are less discriminated against than Whites on average.
