Yep.... Ripple, the company, will use the Ripple network, but the XRP token is not actually needed in the network. XRP could go to zero and the Ripple Network would still be used by banks.

Furk. I moved a chit ton of money out of LTC/ETH/BTC and BTC CHAD cawkblocks me again.

I am assuming people will be pulling out of ALTS if this trend continues.

Probably soon. It's a cycle of alts rallying while BTC is flat, then BTC beasting/dipping and alts dipping.

You know how all the fear mongers talk about how ripple holds 80% of XRP? Guess what their profits/holdings go towards? Furthering their tech, partnerships, exposure, etc.

I'll bet you 100 XRP that nothing happens. If XRP does take off that might be like $1000 for you, if it doesn't you've only given up around $200.

On another related note: 4chan is shilling around SALT. Anyone got any info on it?

SALT is priced at $27.50 on their website. You can use SALT to pay down your interest or principal of the loan.
SALT is about $13 on exchanges, so there is an arbitrage opportunity if you want to take out a loan.

I feel like im spread way too thin across too many alts.

Right now have BTS, REQ, OMG, XVG, XLM, ELF, AION, ENJ, DENT, WABI and a few more

I'm up on pretty much all of them but the gain could be so much better if i rode a few moon missions with a bigger stack

------------------

On XVG, I bought at 300 and sold half at 1700, just waiting for some retarded news to come to sell again. Its been good to me

Where's VBrah, he's the king of low caps

Can't decide if I want BTChad to run to 20k or drop to 8k, either way alts get smashed.

You need a decent amount of liquid to exploit it though if I'm not mistaken.

How about neither. Need stability from Chad to cuck XRP followed by maybe a pump back to 16K

Just a super cliffed cliffs notes on this:

You need to have collateral plus capital to pull this off.

You put up X amount of BTC or ETH for Y amount of loan. You then have to have enough Fiat to buy SALT on exchange to then repay yourself/loan etc.

So put up 1 BTC as collateral (and hope to get approved for loan). Now purchase on average .6 worth of BTC to then purchase SALT and pay self/loan back.

Yeah, but if you anticipate that ppl will buy up the tokens for arb, you can just hold the tokens and sell when it is near retail price.

Eth Casper testnet out
Death is impossible for us to fathom: it is so immense, so frightening, that we will do almost anything to avoid thinking about it. Society is organized to make death invisible, to keep it several steps removed. That distance may seem necessary for our comfort, but it comes with a terrible price: the illusion of limitless time, and a consequent lack of seriousness about daily life. We are running away from the one reality that faces us all.
