We just did countdown ball drop here. We are in cold AF time zone. Kids are happy, they rang in the new year...at 7pm.
thanks brotha, it should work out well, but money will be tight for the next 6 months at least. but thats better than continuing to lose money on rent every month.

Everywhere I look, rent for a decent place is as much as a mortgage payment.

If you’re gunna pay that much, you should be building equity. So buy, don’t rent.

not in a position to do anything just yet, but this is will be my blueprint i'm going to try. rent a home, buy multi-family units. Unit covers rent, other units cover other costs & creates wealth

Know that feeling. We're working with a realtor and lender as of...yesterday. So this is it for this apartment. Love the area, love my job, and the ****ing heat going out is the end of my patience with this apartment complex. We were planning on purchasing right before the Sig job offer but decided to rent just in case I hated it and it would give us time to learn the area.

We went to In n Out tonight after the kids got here from San Mateo. We went in and we were standing in line trying to decide what to eat(I know, shut up.) when the Mexican kid walks up to my wife and starts saying that ‘she called me a ****.’ She was standing between me and him and I grabbed her arm and pulled her behind me, placing myself between him and her and my son stepped forward with his hand out saying ‘ stop’ to the ****. He realized that he had probably made a bad decision and backed off, turned around and walked outside. We watched him walk around the building and start banging on the glass yelling, he had something metallic in his hand. We I stood there and watched this dude until he walked away and the staff walked outside and ended up calling 911. The girl standing in line in front of us told me that it looked like he had a knife in his hand. When I was watching him, I identified it as a e-cig or something round. My son agreed with me. Needless to say, my daughter was freaked out AF. What a state, could have been gutted by some ******* high on PCP and not been able to match force with force.

Just LoL at people doing fireworks simulatenously in my neighborhood.

I'm laying in bed reading a book and i swear the whole street orchestrated fireworks at the same time.

I'm laying in bed reading a book and i hear a crap ton of loud bangs. tactically rolled out of bed and landed on top of my bugout bag, quickly drew my GLOCK from the bag and had it at the low ready. ran to the window and saw it was just dumb fireworks.
