This is why I was so surprised at xrp mooning. On paper it goes against everything cryptos are supposed to be. Trying to wrap my head around crypto markets is proving to be extremely frustrating. I gotta stop overthinking this.

But I am actually starting this project and a website where I'm buying 100 dollars worth of every coin less than a dollar in the top 100 and holding for 2 quarters. (so I'll be able to sell jul 1st) I just started a website and will be keeping updates of the profits/losses and diving deeper into each one of the coins. So I should be purchasing 33 coins today unless a few dropped off or were added.
Sounds like a spread strategy that people use in roulette. The more money I put into this, the more I am realizing it is just pure gambling. Even though I try to tell myself it is smart investing lol.

All the new money entering the space is mostly dumb money, I've noticed that since the hype on crypto currency recently we have seen more higher mccap but low priced coins have the biggest moves. So that's why I'll be doing this project. Always gotta stay 1 step ahead of the knowledge curve

edit - yeah pretty much shoe^^^^^ I'm really excited to learn more and go pretty deep into this project. Besides I'll still have my trading funds available. And jul 1st is right near my bday so I'll be able to take the profits out (If I get profits) and have a baller 24th bday party for the work.

I remember when xlm came out and it was .03cents .. I didnt believe it would ever be worth much because there are 100billion coins. Ripple changed that view of mine. I think it can easily hit 1.5-2 dollars.

bought XRB at $13 last week and it just toppled $26. I don’t know if it’s the Binance voting but it’s doing me good. Bitgrail is the primary exchange for Raiblocks but it’s so chitty, I’m sure it will get 1st and be added to Binance.

I've been just buying coins that I think have a promising tech and fundamental use for society. But I think I have been doing it wrong. Seeing all these people making insane gains just following the hype.

I'm just going to hold btc, eth and xmr. If some other cool coin comes along I will buy a few of those too.

I did this last night. I think it is going to go sub $200. I actually liked ltc too. But I don't want to be left holding bags.

Xrb looks interesting. If it was still under $10, I'd buy some for sure. Not sure about buying in at it's current price. I'd hold if I were you. Especially if binance picks it up. Saw this gif and it intrigued me.

XRB isn't a blockchain, its a DAG like IOTA. Except it actually works, now. It also targets peer to peer whereas IOTA targets machine 2 machine.

I think when it hit $350 it already mooned. It has been going down ever since. But who knows with cryptos. One day you can wake up to find a coin you just sold make 10x gains.

I'm honestly impressed that XRB managed to get so high being on BitGrail. Like wtf is that?
Death is impossible for us to fathom: it is so immense, so frightening, that we will do almost anything to avoid thinking about it. Society is organized to make death invisible, to keep it several steps removed. That distance may seem necessary for our comfort, but it comes with a terrible price: the illusion of limitless time, and a consequent lack of seriousness about daily life. We are running away from the one reality that faces us all.

Alrighty, people itt and the last one talking about trading in SATS vs bitcoin. Here's what boostnlol wrote in the last thread:
Basically were trading BTC for a coin so BTC->BNB.

If BTC is low (High 12's, sub 13's) the amount of BTC to equal the $$ amount of the coin will be higher.
As BTC rises in price the amount of BTC (Sats) to make up the $$ amount will be lower.
My standard rule of thumb is to always maximise on trades to increase my total BTC holding. Since im a firm believer of BTC will always be the highest priced coin

So basically always buy coins when BTC is high to pay less BTC for the coin. Sell the coin when BTC low and coin price HIGH to maximise PROFIIIIIITS
I'm probably just retardit, but this makes no sense to me. Lets say BTC is $1000. You buy 1 BTC. MiscCoin costs .25 BTC or $250. You buy 4 MiscCoins.

Now to keep things simple, lets say MiscCoin stays the same price, and BTC drops to $500 a coin. By the above logic you could cash out MiscCoin to BTC and make a profit since you now own more SATS, and that profit will be realized once BTC rises back up again.

EXCEPT you could have just cashed out MiscCoin to BTC (when BTC was still at $1000) to FIAT, and held onto you FIAT until BTC dropped to $500 and then put your FIAT back into BTC. You didn't need MiscCoin to store your FIAT for you.

Am I wrong?

XRB master race, reps to whichever one of your shilled me that stuff.

Had a hilarious NYE party last night, a few IRL crypto mates there and some good banter going on. One girl sold all her XVG at a huge loss and basically got out of crypto altogether, and then last night it was mooning HARD (before finally dumping again, of course) and she was on suicide watch all evening.

XRB aiming for $1000, tempted to fomo even more into that stuff right now.

CURRENT SPLIT going into 2018:

BCH: 28%
XRB: 20%
BTC: 13%
XRP: 9%
ETH: 7%
ICX: 6%
ONION: 4%
IOTA: 4%
ENG: 2%
BTG: 1%
ENJ: 1%

come at me. ENG bag holder, everything else is OK.
Could have been a slayer.

The problem with these alts is that they are on obscure exchanges, inaccessible to the casual buyer. We need more influx of new money constantly pouring in to prop up the market with the way it has grown the past year.

Otherwise I don't see how it is sustainable long term. I think the only reason why btc, eth, ltc made so much gains is the ease of buying and selling. It is on every major exchange.
