What is it about being a tradie that causes Monster addictions

Recovering tradie here (gas station attendant) and I’ve been battling this issue for 12 years now. Something about the tradie life that hooks one onto energy drinks and gas station food. Other recovering tradies please share your experiences and struggles.

I have observed various journey-level tradesmen such as furniture removalists and gardeners abusing energy drinks. It is no surprise that an entry-level tradesman such as a gas station attendant is now battling addiction. It is very likely you will have to go to rehab.
It is the current year.

It's not only the energy drink addiction that hurts the average tradie, but also the excessive amounts of beef jerky consumed daily.

The beef jerky consumption worsens when gas station do the 2 for 1 deals. So beef jerky in combination with monster energy drink is a lethal combination.

Probably this, although going to sleep at 8 and having to be up at 3 can be difficult.

Red bull is a little more boujie but most energy drinks are douchy to be honest.

My little brother works in a landscaping business, and you'll be pressed to find him without dip or a monster nearby. He's tried to quit both, but it never lasts long. From what I hear, it's something all of his coworkers do, so it's reinforced by their social circle.
