If you have enough of a coin that has nodes, like DASH and in the future WTC and VEN, you get rewards for having that many. Sometimes you have to keep them in a wallet and some of them require you to have a constantly running computer I believe. The node is used to help verify transactions and chit in the network. If you have a VEN node (or I think just any VEN) it will generate another token (currently unknown price, market will have to determine what they want to pay for it) called THOR Power the same way NEO generates GAS. So you get coins just for having coins.

Speaking of which, XLM brahs should look into XLMPool. Basically you get a weekly return on your XLM. Something like 1% annual, paid out weekly so it's like 0.02%. Just got awared about this on reddit.

I actually just found a bunch of Youtube vids about how to use the order book...probably should have gone there first. I'm just trying to get up to speed QUICK on this crypto stuff. I got into crypto briefly a while back and then lost interest...I'm realizing that was probably a mistake.

I’ve heard the same chit about spotlight coins so many times over the past year. Two posters in this thread laughed at me when I said IOTA wouldn’t dip to $3.50. You sound delusional, honestly.

I get it, you have an emotional attachment to XLM now. If you remove that and logically analyze the charts along with previous trends, you’ll see the probability lies in favor of a major correction. Sure it probably won’t happen for a while with all the hype.

I mean if it doesn't happen for awhile then the dip is even less likely to get down to .40, it would have to tank almost 50% to hit it currently...I would love for it to dip so I could accumulate more at a discount but I'm not seeing it happening anytime soon
