based on what I've heard about most other countries - yep you're right. At the end of the day if your a dickhead or a dog in jail you're gonna have a bad time, but if you keep your head down and do your thing it's pretty cruisy

From what I've seen on TV, pretty much nothing is the same in Australia vs American jails

Have you thought about going back to fraud/embezzlement etc. now that you have a better idea of how not to get caught?

Did you learn more about evading law enforcement next time from talking to guys who were in for the same stuff?

b) did anyone comes and visit you once you were sentenced?

c) did you finish high school?

a) credit card fraud and tax fraud, was sentenced to 4.5 years and served 2. Parole for the rest
b) yeah i was lucky, very supportive family so had visits every week
c) yes, and a bachelors degree
d) a little, but not of late and not in jail

I was on remand for 9 months before I was sentenced, I was minimum security and transferred within 2 weeks once I was sentenced. You don't get security assessed until you have been sentenced here. My bail was revoked and I was remanded in custody because I kept getting more charges while on bail for my first batch
