No joke, the 24 Hour Fitnesses in California (not sure where else) offer a $10/month "shower pass" to local homeless so they can use their bathrooms and shower and stay clean.

Part of me thinks this is nice because it will stop them from using the bathrooms at local fast food/apartment complexes to shower. Part of me hates it and wants to cancel my 24 hour membership because I don't want to see these disgusting drug abusers at the gym.

147...or higher? That I know of there's only one round heavier than that, the new HST Micro for tiny pocket guns that is 150gr.

There's heavier. 158 is the heaviest commercially produced I've ever seen. And if you hand load there's even heavier, but extremely hard to find and probably no load data exists.

tons of people do this here in the bay area at 24 hour fitnesses around here. Not sure if they have that exact pass, but dudes who live in their van in the parking lot come in and shower and stuff.

oddly enough its the non-homeless asian people who are the ones digging in the gym trashcans looking for plastic bottles to recycle for cash. The gym ownership just DGAF. You'll also see these same people being the people that go up to the paper towel dispenser in the middle of the gym and take about half the roll, fold it and put it in their pocket and leave with their airport roller suitcase that they bring to the gym daily

Some of your gyms sound awful. I wish I had the space and monies to setup something nice at home.

I understand why that's allowed, and I'm sure it's nice for the people that use it, but if I ever saw this I would walk straight to the front counter and cancel my membership on the spot. Have seen the diseases and stuff these people have, almost all of them have drugs/needles on them, keeping them in the parking lot increases chances of having chit stolen, etc etc.

I mainly workout at a $160/month gym with a beach view and tons of HBBs, but they close at 10pm on weekdays and 6pm on weekends so it's not always possible to work out there. Hence my 24 membership.

lol i actually have 2 memberships due to a perk at work covering most of the cost. one to 24 Hour Fitness (which is where this takes place) I hate it, but their locations are so convenient if i'm on a tight schedule or need super early am workouts

The other is a Golds Gym and is super legit and has none of these issues. I go to this one the most, and love it

This is a serious goal of mine. Home gym. Need a home first lol.

The closest LA fitness(happens to be newest one) is unbearably crowded unless your working out pre 8am. And I mean honestly unbearable, like a nightclub. Literally cannot get a good workout in sometimes because of wait times/lack of available equip. Its a nightmare. And the place is YUUUGGGGEEE.

So I end up driving 30 mins to go to the gym near the GF if I missed my morning workout. Pick her up OTW. Kill two birds with one stone.

Fcking nightmare Miami.
Are you not entertained?

I wish there was a Golds around me. Went to the one in LA and it was hnnnnggg but the closest one is like a 30 minute drive with chit parking. No thanks.

Oh well, he's smart and obedient and protectecive of the kids / house. Hope the digging the yard up, eating weird stiff, and being a 75lb maniac end in a few months. Turns 1 end of the Jan.

Is there any downside to using magpul glock magazines?
Thinking I might say fuk it and just get glock OEM instead

And this might sound dumb but what are the original magazines for AR-15 manufactured by? Or is there no official set magazine company for AR-15. Cause magpul makes at-15 mags, glock mags, etc..

Looks like some border collie to me, which would make it too smart for it's own good. I can definitely see the pit/staff in the cat's feet and skull shape. Does he have a hard time skittering across hard floors?

In any case, that dog is probably going to kill you in your sleep.

well maybe the word "tons" was kind of an embellishment, but i know of at least 3 at the gym i go to.

to be fair the location of this particular one isnt the best, but it was the most convenient for me, so maybe the others arent that bad. I feel like this location is their forgotten stepchild. Like they dont pump money into it like their other locations

Guns like the AR15-style or 1911 are kind of like public domain songs...anybody can make one and tons of manufacturers do. The only company that can make a "Glock" is Glock.

The "original magazine" is whatever the manufacturer you bought your AR15 style rifle included, if it included one.

The best magazines are

-Good USGI aluminum mags (with Magpul followers for 30 rounders) such as NHMTG, OKay Surefeed, Colt, and others)
-Magpul PMAG(except straight wall 20 round Gen2 mags)
-Lancer L5 AWM

Oh He's smart, hacked my password and ordered a bunch of $hit on Amazon (kong, treats, etc) but he also found a great deal on and ordered me some aero lowers to make amends so we are good.

Nah I'm up before him in the morning. I come out about 3:30 and he's just like the first pic everyday, so jakes on him.

He's pretty good on the wood floors. He's very athletic. It's crazy. He slides around a lot but it's because he's tearing azz around the house 100mph. Never really crashes though. He did get himself trapped in a folding TV tray the other day and hilarity insued when he freaked out and started doing some moves that made me think he was part rodeo bull. He was bucking and spinning wooden legs of tray slamming into the walls before I could catch him and untangle him. He doesn't use that approach any more for his crumb checking rounds.

I picked up a few Lancers and they work fine for me. The MFC is tough on Sigs and the Glock kool-aid is strong.

Since always. Possibly the most durable mag out there with the steel for the feed lips and top of the spine being more durable, perhaps..

It's *roy we aren't fond of even though they may be okay, and hexmag that tries to fit in with the cool kid mags but can't quite get there. And the HK mags are just too expensive to consider even if they are good.

The clear/translucent lancers don't ALWAYS drop free no matter the number of rounds or angle the rifle is at for everybody though, my top tier mag list is the black or solid lancers more so than the clear ones

OH yeah, Magpul Glock mags. They are good. For the G26 they are my primary carry mag (their 12 round is shorter than the Glock brand). I still carry Glock brand for the 19 but use the Magpuls at the range too and they are good

I knew hexmags, but maybe it was the transparent Lancers I was thinking. Don't think I even knew of solid mags. P mags are just so available and usually cheap that I just don't even bother with others.
