I've become a pretty big fan of ETS Glock mags. Can find them on sale for like $10/ea sometimes. I have at least 20 or so between G17 and 19.

I wouldn't personally carry with them as some of them won't lock back on last round for some reason, but I have never had feed issues with any of them.

I've had some minor problems with my translucent ETS AR mags, but only with billet lowers for some reason. Pmag, C Products, Okay, Colt, PSA/D&H, Troy, etc. have all been reliable. ETS Glock mags have been fine so far, as have Magpul. The ETS translucent plastic does get slippery if lube gets on it. I run my ARs pretty wet and it's noticeable.

Only mag I've ever had an issue with was a friend's clear lancer. I've never used the Hexmag that I got for free. PMAGs 4 lyfe

im not an elite tier opr8at0r but i like 1/3. less cluttered field of view and if the optic goes down its an easy transition.

Picked up 1000 rounds of 9mm, 3 AR mags that gives me 11 in total now and some gloves. Probably going to take off the vertical foregrip and put on a angled forend grip, not sure if it's going to be black or tan though.

That's what prompted me to ask question in the first place. I probably like absolute better, but with a built in front sight post I like the 1/3. I just have always been a fan of keeping things similar, so I don't like having to switch between them. I'm trying to decide which one to go with.

co-witness or 1/3, it's all personal preference. I prefer 1/3, but know shooters who love co-witness.

For me, co-witness, especially with a fixed front is distracting. My mind's eye wants to line it up perfectly, and I don't see the target beyond it without a delay. With 1/3, I don't even pay attention to the front sight other than perhaps sight alignment.

With flip-up front, it doesn't matter in the least as I flip them down, all I see is a reticle/dot.

I've only ever had a 1-6x on my rifle, so I don't have a lot of experience, but in theory I'd think I'd like absolute so I wouldn't have to change cheek weld/shoulder positions. But I also think I'd prefer lower 1/3 if I had a FSP just to keep it a little more open and less cluttered. I don't really plan on buying any rifles with a built in FSP though, so I've never really thought about it much. I guess I'd just buy absolute, but I dunno. lol

Henry>marlin>Rossi there were apparently issues with the marlin 1894s when Remington bought them and moved production. I have a Henry blued model in .44. They are really neat guns, something about lever actions I really like.

It does in that pic but IRL it looks more lab, which he apparently isn't. I've trained him the same way I trained my lab though so he does whistle commands for sit/stay and come. We were thinking GSD by his not liking to be left alone and some under fur and just the way he carries himself. The husky I guess explains the wolf howl he does if one of the kids is crying. Hes a good mut.

Has anyone had any success using the lighter springs to achieve better trigger weight on factory LPKs? I don't really want to buy drop-in triggers right now. I'd really like to learn how to make a factory AR trigger useable and down to 3.5-4lbs instead of 8 or whatever. I saw there are some springs for like $7 that claim to accomplish that but not much for reviews...

Best $6+ship I've spent. Works extremely well with nickel teflon coated triggers and hammers.

When you get into the 3.5 pound springs for a mil-spec trigger, you run the risk of light strikes. Anything around there, I'd recommend a drop-in to insure reliability. Polishing or nickel teflon would make a 4.5lb feel feather light.

The JP 3.5T kit has worked well, no failures even with crappy wolf steel, but thats with the ALG NB trigger

Awesome I appreciate it going to order a few! I'll go 4.5 that's useable. I have good triggers in a few and when I try to shoot a beater rifle with a spec/junk trigger it's difficult for me to shoot very well.

Ordered 3 to try out give one away.
