Okay maybe, but it’s not like a half a Milly is that concerning. It would be coming from coinbase where ur ID is verified and all that lol. I’m not worried, if it’s legally obtained it will be mine even if my bank calls me to verify

I work at a bank which is most likely why I made said assumption. Banks deal with wires and deposits way larger something like a million dollar wire wouldn’t make us flinch where I work. It’s part of doing business.

They may call u if it’s a large % of their total assets due to having to up liquidity if so etc. but psh that would be the most of a hiccup I’d expect

Fairly certain since I make $0 / yr as a student, if BAT can reach ~$20 (by the grace of god) by the end of the year, I won't have to pay capital gains.

Youd be surprised how many banks want no part in crypto. There were two guys at my work that wanted to get into crypto but didnt want to use there main bank,... so they went to a other bank to open up accounts. I guess the vanker asked what the account would be for and when they mentioned cryptocurrency, they were both denied. Angry and pissed, they went to another bank and the SAME thing happened.. so they went to another bank amd just made something up.. lmao. I think if i cashed a large sum out, I'd send it to paypal, then my bank..

There are flags on fresh money being attempted to be WITNDRAWN in cash, for obvious reasons but the bank can just hold funds until they’re comfortable it’s real.

It’s not like they’re flagging accounts in good standing because they all of the sudden got wired money. If that was the case people would be ****ed every time they get an inheritance or sell a property or some ****

They're going to report it anyway to the Feds. So what's the difference? Why deny someone over crypto? It's not illegal, and its' not even considered a currency as far as I know. Banks, and laws and all of it, it's all bull**** for the most part. Which is why crypto is where it is. It has them scared I'm sure.

A lot of banks don’t want to be involved in funding crypto, but I’m skeptical they’d ever care about you receiving a wire, coinbase is a legitimate FDIC insured company not the mafia

The perception that what we’re doing here is shady or illegal is media nonsense.

Yeah Ive been thinking about that. First I am thinking I would use Gemini cause it looks like they have no withdraw limits when they do a wire transfer if I am understanding correctly. I was thinking first I would talk to my bank just to make sure they are aware. It does seem like some banks are way more iffy about crypto. My mom went in to US bank to make a wire transfer to coinbase and they said it was a prohibited business, I thought it was just a fluke but the manager told her on two occasions just lol. I am thinking Schwab would be cool with it, from all the banks I've tried they seem the best.
That's my secret Captain. I'm always shredded

Yeah my transfers to coinbase get denied all the time and I gotta call up. Probably gonna be put on the fbi watchlist if 500k arrives from coinbase, not that they let you withdraw that much at once
