Alarm went off at 4:00 slept till next alarm at 4:30. got up made coffee, went to the garage to fetch my gym clothes, determined it was too cold and I would go at work during my lunch break. I stayed up like till 11. My kid had cheerleading practice, then I had to comb out her hair. Tried to straighten the back that got frizzy, accidently burned her. Felt like complete crap, my grandma yelled at me to be careful and guilt tripped me. I just though like Gramma , I feel like crap and where was the outrage when my mom would burn my ears and neck doing my hair all the time?!

In other geezer news this is the year I finally put the garage gym up. I bought a spin bike so it should be here wednesday. I'm looking at gym mats that are interlocking for a good price. Started browsing power racks. Hopefully by summer time I can get it completely set up. This way when I don't feel like driving in the morning I can just go into the garage and get my work done, day or night and not feel bad about leaving the kid.

Also how many extra geezer points do I get? I had a back surgery BEFORE i turned 30. If i sleep on my hip too long it gets sore as all get out. When I sleep with my head on my arm it goes numb in 5 seconds flat.

Any of you old geezers move different states with kids? Thinking of moving to Chicago, and I've never made such a huge step, especially with kids and wifer.. Looking for a job now, but it's hard..

Don't have kids/wife, but picked my life up and moved for work (promotion) 2.5 years ago. Just has to be worth it long term.

Ugh, this. Even on weekdays I have to make sure I'm not falling asleep too early.

Fortunately I still drink like I'm 25 on Friday and Saturday, but still wake up early because my body hates me. I get less sleep on weekends.

Ive had insomnia for the first time in my life lately, not bad just a few days but I have never had that problem before.
