At the very least I hope Lightning Network is implemented this year so I can move around BTC more freely. I think 2018 is going to be an exciting year. 2017 had tremendous growth, if this year exceeds that then Lambos all around.

Been a lurker since vol 3 then lost all my money in vol 4 and just came back at vol 8 with some more money to try again. Wow never expected this to blow up, thought this was a secret little crew where the smart people knew about now everyone on the whole board posts here seems like.
Anyways what is everyone keeping their eyes on nowadays? Back then it was OMG KNC and I also remember that risky coin called ethconnect or something like that, how did that work out?

Only reason I like Delta better is it easily shows your gains in USD and BTC whereas Blockfolio you had to dig around to see it.
Death is impossible for us to fathom: it is so immense, so frightening, that we will do almost anything to avoid thinking about it. Society is organized to make death invisible, to keep it several steps removed. That distance may seem necessary for our comfort, but it comes with a terrible price: the illusion of limitless time, and a consequent lack of seriousness about daily life. We are running away from the one reality that faces us all.

Any of you guys mine? If you lived in a cold climate region with cheap subsidized electricity like Norway, it would be awesome to start a small mining operation. Sure individual coins could fail but I don't think blockchain/cryptography is going anywhere.
I don't know why college students living in dorms don't do this. Just enough to make a few hundred bucks a month. Or grad students who have access to private labs. Hnngggg. Imagine mining on a supercomputer.

When you vets were newbies, how long did it take for you to get pretty good at this? I have made some terribles moves so far, but still up $2k so I can't complain too much. Kicking myself over Eth though. Got in at 940, sold early, and it's 1300+ wtf!

Interested in when you guys are taking profits/selling coins. Right now only looking at sats level rather than usd amount. Setting sell orders for 2x of what I bought sats wise and hodling til it's met. Then going to take those eths and either re-invest when that coin dips or look for possible moonshoot or other stable coin to set for 2x. I feel like this is rather conservative, but I have faith all my invest will double in few months (dat crypto confidence). Good strategy or should I be looking for smaller profits such as 10-20% and then re-invest?

Almost caught up to the gains I made on ethereum. Sleep like a baby with my money in BAT coin. One of the few coins that could bounce back after a market collapse, and still have insane potential. The hype cycle hasn't run through it yet. If it does we could see $10-20 per coin. I expect this to happen during ad trials and after twitch integration and the big NY digital media companies are announced. I think there are three of them. If omnicom group is listed, that will be huge. Alone they do about $15B in revenue.

I would have had a solid 60k-65k with my 15k investment if I just did certain moves differently now on that 5k profit poverty time...mind you started December 1, 2017...complaining about 5k profit in 1 month lol.
