Just make it or die trying, srs. Most people would say move to a lower cost of living area or be more frugal, but to me the answer is just finding a way to make more money. Trust me plenty of people less able and more stupid than you do.

You know it's funny, as time goes on things become rather mundane and not as exciting to me at least. Just a few somewhat recent ones I can think of that were note worthy.

During Hurricane Irma we were near the water and got a call for a boat that broke off it's anchor. So we head out thinking maybe a small boat, hoping no one is hurt. Turns out no one was on it and it was one of the weekend dinner cruise ships. It got wedged between a bridge and seawall. The part under the bridge the boat had hit just happened to be part of the electrical system for a nearby beach community who hadn't lost power during the hurricane...until then.

Broke down a door for a person in distress not long ago. Ended up being two 70 plus y/o's going at it. My buddy and I walked in, they didn't stop, and we walked right the fuk back out.

Also had a crash we headed to with possibly someone still in the car. Get there and some meth'd out chick crashed into someones fence and had the car in drive and the tires were spinning. As we are getting ready to go over and put it in park, the tires that were spinning caught all the pine needles on fire and almost burned down the house next to it. We pulled her dumbass out and the first thing she said was, smells like someone is cooking and I'm hungry.

Fuk my life
You can't rely on luck, just try to be ready if the opportunity comes knocking. That's all there is to that. If your friends just got lucky forget about that chit. Try looking into people who didn't get lucky and what they did to succeed.

You can't be much older than 30 dude all you got is time to try.

Edit: you're LA crew? yea man I could see times being rough for you chit is getting a little out of hand around these parts. If you want to make more than 100K you have to change careers or start a business. Simple as that.

You're an EMT? How hard is it to start a private ambulance service for daycare places and such? Don't know chit about that industry just the first business idea related to EMT that came to mind.

How about a career change? You good with people? Use your knowledge as EMT to switch to medical device sales maybe.

Just a few thoughts in 30 seconds. You should spend much more time than that thinking about it. This is your life *******.

See edit. Don't be such a jellybelly ****gio my dawgio. Tons of people dumber that that sloot make way more than 100k. You just focus on learning from people who you can learn from, not being a hateful *******. There is plenty of money here in LA, all you need to do is take a very tiny slice to be extremely successful. Don't hate, participate.

this. Multiple income due to die trying, mortgage insurance and taxes are 4000/month. Seems like unless youre the top level of society you gotta grind unconventionally to make it

Live in NYC, pay 3k in rent which is kind of cheap for the neighborhood. Currently looking at some nice 2BR’s in prime nyc neighborhoods which will definitely bump rent higher.
