3 months sober today...
Been a long 3 months but breaking the murderous cycle and bullchit albeit not easy, definitely worth the daily struggle.
Anyway going through it...stay the course, brahs.

Sobering up from a few things I indulged in too much. Feels good to realize the negative effects and make the changes necessary to get your happiness and self back. Good job OP

That's nice not sure why you felt the need to brag about being a normal person, I mean you likely went 20+ years without so going 3 months is nothing to celebrate.

Congrats dude. Any tips? I can never seem to make it past a couple weeks. I get in a situation where drinking is involved and get weak. I do have friends who were able to quit drinking but always have other vices they fall back on.

That's great man! What are some of the things you noticed after the first couple of weeks, 30 days and 2 months after not drinking? What is the most positive results you have seen this far?

Congrats. I was an alchy for a couple years and I quit pretty easily by just smoking a chit ton of green, probably better for me. Now I don't even have a huge desire to drink a lot when I go out if at all I'd rather just get a little buzzed and talk to people

I don't drink, and I find it very easy to not drink, but there are people who struggle mentally and resort to recreational drugs/drinking to cope, and can get to the point of killing themselves due to depression and alcoholism. When it gets this severe it isn't something that you can just "turn off".
I know people who suffered from these things and it's very hard to watch, he should be proud for having 3 clean months. People who are trying to stay clean also need strong support groups because it's very difficult doing it alone.
