This post will probably go unnoticed, which is a damn shame, but I'm posting it anyways for the newbs. Those who read it will have knowledge that other newbs will not. I'm posting as an OG since Misc CC Volume 1.

This type of drop happened just a few months ago, believe it or not. There were TWO MONTHS where strong and weak alts steadily bled from previous ATHs to very low points. This happened as BTC steadily rose to a new ATH, which peaked at about 20K.

If you want an actual example of a strong alt to look at for evidence of the period I'm talking about, check out OMGs daily chart from it's ATH of .0032 Satoshis. And check out in September when it started to drop and then just kept dropping. Now, look at other random alts around that time period as well. You'll see them bleeding, and bleeding horribly for a long time.

Many people sold and lost a ton of money and a ton of BTC. However, some people held and the people that held ended up making a ton of money. Perhaps they aren't back up to their previous levels of BTC, but the USD values the majority of alts now compared to back then are up, and up quite a bit.

The less here is that panic selling isn't always the best option and if you hold through this mess instead of guaranteeing a loss by selling, you'll likely be looking at big gains as 2018 progresses. Within just a couple of months you could be high in the green, which is what has happened every year after January for the past three years.

Think about it and don't let this post go unnoticed.

It's unbelievable that there isn't some mechanism in place to stop this happening, lamo. How the **** can't the networks, wallets or exchanges just reject an illegal address? One ****ing typo and you're ****ED.

If I was tasked with designing the worst possible currency/money system I could come up with, including the most numerous and serious risks to the user, on my very best day I don't think I would have devised something nearly as **** as bitcoin.

Just lol

Very sensible and plausible... BUT, just to play devil's advocate on this one, the winter 13/14 crash saw the majority of trendy alts disappear altogether and never return. I guess it depends how long the market stays down as to whether projects get abandoned and replaced by better stuff before they can revive. Would be interesting to see just how many alts from last year survived the BTChad run, and how many (once popular, perhaps) never came back. I wonder if anyone has charted such things.

Same, no idea where the bottom is, could be 500 in less than a week, could shoot back to 1400 in two days.

I don't really know of many that are gone that were here last September. Only a few have been delisted from Bittrex, but they're still live on other exchanges (SAFEX, TRIG are examples).

If you're caught in losses with alts right now, selling at this low is a pretty big bet that we'll never see higher prices again. That's essentially what you're saying if you sell right now, that the price you're selling at will be the ATH forever going forward.

ICO price was 0.08$ and 10000 BDG / ETH. Currently it's trading at .50$ which is a 625% increase since their ICO only 2 WEEKS ago! It's only being traded on ED currently and Suppoman didn't even start to shill it yet.

Besides this obvious moon mission, there's another one which found quite some interest by a group of miscers:

LiveEdu

The next moon mission ICO will be LiveEdu - A learning platform similar to BDG with the difference that they have already over 13000 active streamers/teachers using their website. They have a working platform online since 3 years hosting They will attend several blockchain conferences within the next weeks and open their public ICO in two days, on January 15th.

Hardcap is only 10M so there's an insane amount of room for growth. (for reference: BDG is currently at 130M).

Additionally 20% of their revenue will be used to buy back tokens and 35% of the subscription tokens on the platform are being burned! So the amount of tokens permanently decreases, paving the way for a steady rise in price action in the long run.

About 10 miscbrahs will be invested in it, so it's by no mean a random shill. This ICO is way under the radar for most people, yet it looks absolutely promising. Another advantage is the first contribution bonus we receive. On the first day you will get an additional20% Bonus token on your contribution if you go in on the first day of the ICO.

They also host a referral program you can earn some bonus tokens with after you signed up. So if you brahs don't mind, you can use mine and invite some friends with your own later on:https://tokensale.liveedu.tv/ref/ncTNikXHPUsiqpSA

Just post itt or pn me if you need additional infos, I'll try to catch up asap.
LiveEdu sold out nearly 50% after the first day for all brahs who're invested. Looks like we will see a premature ending and a upcoming listing on ED soon.

Feels good when everyone's stressing because the market goes crazy and I'm sitting comfy in my ICOs and ETH waiting for upcoming ICOs.
Existing alt positions got rekt tho lol

And check out in September when it started to drop and then just kept dropping. Now, look at other random alts around that time period as well.

TLDR

hodl

it's a lot easier to hodl strong when your buy-in was $5k btc or $200 eth vs $16k/$1k though. The newer people to this space (aka normies) expected to toss in their life savings and make 10x of that....lul on suicide watch rn

Guess I should have cashed out on the alt gains I made with last weeks buys.
