I walked away from crypto from June until November. Even at this dip, and not including the ICO I am in, I'm still up 40% just by sitting here... That's insane. Cyrpto isnt going anywhere, any time soon, so just chill. Delete apps, delete bookmarks, and come back in a few months.Yeah you guys have a ton more confidence in this stuff then I do, and are way more optimistic about it. I only started with like 1k like a year ago though....so....worst case I lose that. Wish I would have taken max gainz a long time ago though. I'm holding no matter what at this point. Hope you all are right.

i'm confused on the use of USDT and why people buy that during dips.
if you purchase .5 btc of USDT during dips and convert back when it stabilizes, is it not the same value as if you didn't convert to USDT?
you still have .5 btc in the end

You have been doing it from the start. There's really nothing special we can do at this point. My position in this situation is, we are already like 20% down from yesterday. For me, its too late to even think of a way out or take advantage of the situation. That's why I just hold whatever I have and wait for the price to recover.

When alts rebound it’s faster and more aggressive than bitcoin, and will probably happen before you have an opportunity to time it and get back into alts.
I get what you’re trying to do, and it’s almost like timing two markets at once and getting in the bottom of both.
It takes much less capital to make an alt move and that’s why they are more volitile when bitcoin starts going up you won’t be able to ride to the peak and get in the alt bottom, the alts will move faster and you may just end up worse off than before the dump
The only real way to win this is get into tether, then buy back cheaper btc then buy cheaper alts or pick up margin and short the **** out of everything.

I'm not into conspiracy theories and I'm not saying this is the case - but it's a completely perfect way for a nation to gain wealth among its citizens lmao. Drain cash from other nations by making them pump money in something they believe in, then let it crash due to some "internal regulation" and make your own people profit.

Then you decided selling your BTC for USDT at a current value of $14000, then you will have 14,000 USDT right?
And then let's say BTC goes down to 10,000 USDT and you decided to buy back, you can buy 1.4 BTC because you have 14000 USDT.

With that being said I don't think BTC is going anywhere. History has shown that BTC is resilient and always bounces back to ATH after a major dip. But then again we have a lot of alternatives in 2018 that's slowly taking market share from BTC.
Cliffs: I don't know and no one else does either. Just use your best judgement and don't get too emotional.

BTC is getting more scarce now as well, so I think the value is going to go up exponentially soon. Thoughts?

What was your main reason for getting into alts in the first place? to increase your BTC stack?

Can someone tell me if this is correct to buy coins
I made a btcmarkers account
And a kucoin account
And a breadwallet account
So what I do is,
1) deposit real money into btcmarkets
2) purchase BTC or ETH
3) send coins too kucoin and use them to buy alt coins
4) once I buy I send coins to breadwallet to keep them safe
Then to sell
1) move coins back to kucoin
2) exchange for ETH or BTC
3) send to btcmarket and sell coins on there for real money
??
Thanks
