Yeah I've just been holding through the crash. Would like to day trade it and buy back cheaper, but I tried some trading before the crash and lost money then so I don't feel confident I can time it right now. So I decided just to do nothing and hold through it and see what happens.

COPE harder
Of course I "care" - I'd much rather still be up loads from it, don't be stupid. If I "lost it all" (lol) it would take me all of three months to pay back, boo hoo. It's a small amount of money compared to, for instance 1) my monthly income, 2) my other assets, 3) my crypto stack at the time.

Borrowing money to fund all manner of ventures is a fact of life and often a very smart move, if you've never done it before then you're still a kid and will get around to it sooner or later. Crypto is riskier than most things, so factor that in, but writing off loans as a bad idea immediately is just as retarded as saying "always borrow money for crypto".

It was a calculated risk. ****, I have about £400k of loans in property, lamo -huge kunting mortgages which, "if interests rates were to rise by _ _ %" I would be proper ****ed and unable to pay. But, again, right now it's extraordinarily profitable.

Borrowing money isn't just definitely a bad idea, got to weight it up. Afiss - consider firstly whether you could afford to pay off the debt if you crypto died to $hit. If so, then maybe you can give it a try. Maybe!
In this day of historically low fixed interest rates, why TF do you have an ARM brah?

Look I ain't ever gonna buy the bottom or sell the top. So stop stressing. Its funny to watch everyone repeat the same mistake over and over and over and over.

this stuff isn't that hard. Buy a small amount each week sit back look @ porn relax wake up in a year and jerk off to your profits if its successful
Nobody can tell whether its the bottom already. Thats the point. Its either you decide now or just dont. The good thing is, if its this low already, the chances of going lower lessens. It could still go but for sure when it pump, it will easily surpass your buy-in price.

You can't be in crypto if you can't decide when to get it. If you buy now and it went further down, so be it. That's just it, just wait until it goes up again.

whole market is very illiquid because of pairing.

You simply can't buy dips due to the fact you have multiple hops. USD > BTC > (WAIT AND WATCH IT LOSE VALUE > ALT COIN this amplifies selling.

Fairx can't come soon enough and generate a very liquid market.

I don't like the way we haven't got a spike up today, besides the bounces off of support.... gives me a bad feeling about tonight.

Hodl till I'm broke though. Fuk it - I am getting used to waking up to a kick in the nuts.

I'm not sure why anyone is even panicking. After reading this thread for a while most people here seemed to have a strong strategy. But a 'small' (Crypto standards) decline has everyone here coping. The market gets slashed in half after it runs 20x LOL , big deal.

This is the one scary aspect of a lot of alt coins is that if bitcoin achieves some of the concepts being worked on the bitcoin platform, it could wipe out a lot of them from having any purpose or relevance.

Thankfully most of these bitcoin upgrades still seem 6+ months off.

They're all on 5-year fixes, but who knows what will happen in that time. The risk is of course very low but it was an example to give to the boyo here who doesn't understand how you can borrow money to make money:

I haven't given you any advice. If I were to, based on your posts just now, it would indeed be to NOT ever take credit or mortgages, as you don't seem to understand how to use them to your advantage.

ask yourself this... how does someone who makes $1200/month through employment, qualify for $400k in mortgage loans, and can continue to take out personal loans? How haven't you fgts realized he is the biggest fraud since Roger Ver?
