I didn’t think anything of it and then she told me he was strapped with a pistol on his hip.

So I walked out, see this mid 50s looking guy with a mustache and sure enough, strapped with a gun. I asked why he had a gun and he said for self defense.

I tried keeping my temper down but basically Stone-cold said to him get the **** out before i call the cops guy. He started getting all bent out of shape, told him his chit would be dropped off.

Made him sign the bill and kicked him out. Dad said I did the right thing

Not sure if trolling or aware thread but I'll bite.

Is open carry legal where you're from? If not, did your shop have a sign specifically stating no open firearms upon entering premise? If it's perfectly legal and there was no sign, then you just turned away a customer for your own personal, Estrogen-related reasons.

I wish I could legally own a firearm, be thankful you live in a country with as much freedom as you do, OP.

lol. No. You can legally own firearms in Canada.

Not sure what Jaegerbrah did criminally that he can't own a firearm. All you have to do is a course/challenge a test and apply for your PAL license. That allows you to purchase and own long rifles (hunting etc) and do the same for a restricted PAL (handguns etc)

Long rifle rules are stored with 1 lock (so in a safe). Can be transported anywhere not loaded.

Restricted (Handguns) have to be double locked and can only be transported to and from the range you have a membership at and gun stores if you call it in a head of time.

AR-15's fall under restricted classification.

I LOL that the OP thought he would post this and get some kind of kudos from everyone.

I'll probably find the other side of the story in some firearm forms I frequent. Will post if I do.

I meant in the way Americans own firearms. We can legally own them, but from the process to the cost, to what firearms, to when/where and etc. we're greatly confined and fuked.

That makes more sense and yes i agree, they have lots of freedom. Hunting black bear i'd love to be able to carry a pistol for self defense. Unfortunately we don't have that luxuries here.

But i guess the flip side is you don't have to worry about every pissed off driver pulling a gun on you for road rage.

Open carry is against the law in California.

Girlfriend saw the outline of his firearm first (had to be big) and then saw it when he leaned over apparently his jacket was half zipped.

I don’t let people who try to scare me, my girl or my workers near my shop. Or on the lot. Got it?
