Sup bro havent seen you post in a while. Why don't you try again with reduced pwo? I find getting up early energizes the rest of the day.

Rest day for me but still up at that 4am grind. Got some work done, did some laundry, now time for some coffee and taking a massive dump.

Trying to decide how to best approach today. I'm either gonno go in early and try to get a good start to get chit done today, or stay in and work from home. Once in a while I just don't go in because I actually need to do 8 hours of work instead of dealing with questions/phone calls/emails and other bullchit all day long.

Stay in brah! I'd love to work from home. Being in my cube all day makes me depressed as hell.

Sure - I found it on Amazon. They're 25-30 mins, and if you've got Prime it's free:

https://www.amazon.com/Day-1-Foundat...s=30+days+yoga

Otherwise I'm sure there's something similar on YouTube. I've never done much yoga so I can't speak to the quality, but I'm finding it challenging but doable. My 2 year old sometimes joins in to "play Yogurt" with Daddy.

It's crazy to see her effortlessly get into these positions - we've all gotta get back to that!

Thanks dude, I might give it a go. I have a free trial of prime but it's about to expire. I will see if I can find something similar on youtube. I'd love to improve my flexability, probably help to drop 20-30lbs as well, lol.

Happy Monday crew. Started the week off with chest day. I decided to start training fasted again. I trained Saturday at 8AM fasted and had a pretty good workout. I need to ease myself back into cutting to get ready for the summer.

18 degrees here....was like a heat wave today....

Second training session fasted and it went very well. I'm performing much better on an empty stomach. I make sure I have a heavy carb meal before bed @ around 900PM though. Just take my preworkout and hit the gym now.

Did legs this morning. Gonna snow again today....yay..

I'm team 0430 wakeup for 0500 training. Normally house some whey/nesquik as soon as I wake up, with some gatorade intra.

My biggest problem is staying asleep...I can fall asleep anywhere, but seem to wake up 3-4 times in a night. I don't think sleep apnea is the culprit since I have no tonsils. I can sleep solid all the way through if I take zzquil or unisom, but it makes me groggy in the morning. Naturally, this issue is compounded when I don't normally get to bed until about 10 pm. Do you guys have any sleep hacks?

more info: I have been completely dry of alcohol this month, and it's helped some. Also cut out TV in the bedroom, and limiting screen time in the leadup to bed time.

I would get a sleep study done anyways. Sounds like you have something going on for sure. Waking up at 4AM was enough to promote better sleep for me, but I occasionally wake up once a night to pee. It's rare that I sleep through the entire night uninterrupted.

I can't use sleep aids like that either because I get the same groggy feeling.

I've got my annual flight physical sometime this month...will ask about it then. Normally, they either just prescribe you something or send you to a BS sleep hygiene class first.

Definitely don't take any drugs from them. If they try, tell them thank you but you'll explore other options. Getting to the root of your issues is priority. Finding a good doctor is key. Do some google research for your area for clinics that specialize in that kind of thing.

Up at 4AM , and on the road at 440AM today despite 6" of snow. Thank God I have a truck. I was the only person in the gym this AM.

I'm noticing that lifting fasted has drastically increased my appetite. I'm starving all day now.

Up at 5:30, walked dogs, Yoga from 6-6:40.

Was out of town traveling these last few days, so "slept in" to 5:30. Been doing these yoga vids 7x a week, seeing major gainz in my mobility. I think next week will be back to MWF PPL with some yoga mixed in.

New week everyone. Got a solid chest day in this morning. Been really struggling to stay focused lately. The last 6 weeks of my life have been pretty rough, and there has been very little positive things going on. Trying to keep my head up, but even my fiancé said she saw the sadness in me. Hoping I can snap out of this soon.

Personally I do notice a difference having some BCAAs in the morning. Like my brah said though, could be placebo.....could not be....who knows................bottom line if you feel it helps, and you perform better keep doing it regardless of what science or broscience says.

Got a good leg session in this morning. My squats have been much better since doing them 3rd in rotation instead of first. My body is much more awake and I'm more limber. Couldn't do my walking lunges today because everyone and their mother was on the track.

^^ Ayy waddup mayne, Cardio's going to fly by for you!

Dudes this flu knocked me on my ASS. 4 straight days of 103 fever. Finally back at work today, hoping tomorrow I can get back to setting an alarm. Been nearly a week since a workout, but that's life when a bug k.o.'s you.

Everyone around me has been getting sick, including a Pink Eye outbreak locally. Tons of kids caught it including my daughter. I've been dealing with a cough since my mom died in December. Finally clearing up a little now, but damn it took forever.

Off day today and got to sleep in. I always feel worse the days I don't life in the AM but the extra rest is needed. Back at it tomorrow. I started going back to Crunch again. This may sound dumb, but its brighter (better lighting) and more people are there in the AM so I feel more awake.....other gym is very dim, and like 4 senior citizens. The environment change has been good.
