Just imo....I totally disagree with this. Yeah we’re safer and more comfortable now.....and maybe life is “easier”.....but look what we’re doing with it. We’re buried in our phones fighting over who uses what bathroom on the internet. We’re on antidepressants. We’re anxious. Sounds like a pretty chitty time to be alive tbh.

I’d gladly take a “harder” life in exchange for less modern day bullchit.

Whenever I'd complain about stuff not being fair, my Dad would tell me, "Fair is where you take the pig."

Typical autist minority victim mentality. The system is rigged, yes, but anyone willing to put in the work to use that fact to his advantage can make it. We can’t all be autistic but entertaining youtube celebrities making millions a year off advertising royalties, but we all have the opportunity to find what we’re good at and make it work for us. Unfortunately many just aren’t willing to struggle or lose before achieving success. Blaming the system or someone else is much easier to use as a cop out for laziness and unwillingness to sacrifice

There are many people in this world that are not entrepreneurial and thats perfectly fine with them AND me. Corporations give them a chance to feed their families. The problem starts about when these people who are not willing to put their asssses and money on the line for their own company to sit back and complain yet still do nothing about it. Of course there are outliers and some might truly be victims but for the most part people are lazy and like to complain a lot without taking enough accountability on themselves.

If you are facing challenges, perhaps part of the reason might be that you might need to concentrate on your interactions more. If you notice, I made a statement then asked a question in hopes I can reach out a helping hand.

You simply replied to my statement but did not answer my question.
Could you possible be going through life and not seeing the opportunities? I think if I could boil it down to a few certain things, what separates the successful people from others is: courage to fail, work ethic AND the ability to spot opportunities even though they may not be right in your face.

Perhaps people should look at how the word "fair" is being used. I feel a lot of times its not used properly.
What's unfair? A 3 month old getting cancer. Thats Unfair.
A mother getting hit by a drunk driver and dying. Thats unfair

Someone not getting by because they are lazy is MORE than fair.
Being born in poor with bad parents, yes an unfortunate hand to be dealt and I can sympathize and call that "unfair" but compared to the first 2 scenarios I laid out, you have a chance to still make something of your life.
You wouldnt be the first to rise out of that predicament and you wont be the last.

Think about this perspective for a moment. Consider the life of a wild animal, especially a prey animal. They have nothing going for them except their wits and their health. If one of those fails them they do not live much longer. They are always at the mercy of the environment around them and each minute is a trial of survival. The unfairness of the prey animals world is unfathomable. Humans were in the same situation at one time.

Until we put our heads together, banded together and created civilization. One of the most powerful intangibles. Everyone able to read this thread has the advantage of civilization. NEVER FORGET that advantage. The vast majority of us have never and will never experienced what the prey animal, that I described earlier, has to edure.

The next time you think about the unfairness of life, consider what you are actually saying. Unfair because some people have more money? Better looks? Some undeserved advantage? The prey animal laughs at you. And he should.
