My boys and I just got back into PUBG again. Really hate the new map, but this game is so easy compared to Fortnite that we're having a blast.

Had 3 back to back wins with 15 kills, 12 kills, and 22 kills as a team.

Fortnite is not as "competitive" as FPP PUBG because its TPP.

Most people i talk to that have played fortnite won't go back. These people are high ELO rated pubg players tho so maybe that's why.

Not hating on Fortnite. It has its place as a more casual less skill intensive BR game.

I've tried multiple times to get into Fortnite but it just doesn't click with me at all, even after trying duo's. I hate third person views, and I absolutely hate aiming/shooting in this game. I understand it's meant to be cartoony, and I have no issues with cartoon style games, but Fortnite doesn't interest me at all.

I'm not speaking to "competition" or "skill".

For whatever reason(s) it's just more difficult to win in Fortnite than PUBG. Fact.

Whether those wins come from luck, skill, whatever isn't relevant to me.

I love swapping between the two games, because like you mention, Fortnite seems a lot more casual, while PUBG seems to take more skill (I'm not sold on this yet..), but they're different and can complement eachother for when you get burned out on one.

I saw Summit win 7 solo in a row yesterday playing fortnite.

Could be luck..But i don't recall summit ever winning 7 solo in a row on FPP PUBG

I don't watch streamers, so maybe it's different for top tier players.

All I know is I've regularly won back to back, and my best is 4x wins in PUBG.

I've never won back to back in Fortnite lol.

and PUBG victories just seem to come so easy, whereas in Fortnite you have to plan much more

Didn't want to make a new thread, but since its PUBG related I will post it here.

I have suffered "marshmallow" buildings and stuttering when entering said building since I first got the game a few weeks back. I've looked at others peoples fixes and it seems the only options are:- buy an ssd or increase ram. I went with the ram option; 2x8gb to be exact.

Currently have 8gb atm, but the new **** arrives tomorrow. Will report back findings.

Just came second in my latest game, ****ing intense mayne, crawling through the grass towards the end, addictive as ****. I only lost it because I kept crawling around and he heard. Turns out we were only a couple feet from each other.

Only took out 4 guys though, but 2 were within the top 15 and the other 2 within top 10.

Quick update on ram - Just installed 2x8gb ddr3 (mobo won't recognise ddr4) and it's eliminatedallstuttering, both inside and outside of buildings. 1400p feels so much better now that I can actually do **** in game.

I also used msi afterburner for osd stats and I'm hitting an average of9.6gbin the normal map and11.5gbof ram in the desert. So it was a pretty good investment.

Do it boyos, 16gb dual channel.

I'm not saying PUBG is a super competitive Esport but from a marketing standpoint it draws in viewers.

I haven't seen anything on twitch regarding fortnite Esports.

I'm not here to bash fortnite and i'm unsure why fortnite fangays feel the need to come in here. Fortnite has it's place but it won't be as competitive as PUBG as long as it's TPP.

I barely play PUBG anymore. Moved onto Siege. Pubg is a flawed game i'm not making it out to be some sort of awesome game. I've been on record saying its an incredibly overhyped game.

That said...TPP is not skillful. the ability to peak corners in any shooter where you opponent cannot see you is laughable at best.

The game sucks, well it's surely not my cup of tea, I'd rather blow dudes that play Fortnite again. And as console Master Race I am irate BlueHole and Microsoft somehow managed to release a console version of PUBG that's greatly more fawked up than the PC version, smh.... guess I'll get my hands on a decent battle royal game next year :/

They need to buff the shotguns, if not entirely, then at close range.

Getting hit by 4 or more of the pellets should be a kill at close range to say the chest.

Sick of getting first shot off with a shotgun, then them killing me with an AR, or SMG...

Shotguns should absolutely dominate close range fights, no questions asked.

And, they should suck at long range, which is fair
