You expected a 50% loss to be recovered in 2 weeks? What the actual F is wrong with some of you. 400 billion dollars moves out of the market, and you're like OMG 40 billion a day for the past 2 weeks hasn't flown back in. OMG the sky is falling. Give it some time. If the entire space collapses it's going to take more than a few days.
I woke up this morning still breathing. Might as well take advantage of it.

i mean.. it only took a few days to get back up to 700+ billion marketcap. that happened shortly after the original fall

and i believe the china fud was a fairly quick turn around. maybe 2 weeks, at least in regard to btc.

but we haven't seen that high a marketcap before

OCN went up to 725. hope you brahs listened lamo. Had to make a pit stop at 480 on the way tho. Earned me nearly a BTC to my trading stack today with that bad boy. 16% up from my call in ~3 hours

It's been over a month now. I don't know where this 2 weeks nonsense is coming from. I expected BTC to start recovering but the opposite has happened.

It's gonna be a long bear market into spring.

We kept seeing stupidly high numbers day after day, week after week. It was totally unrealistic and needed a correction. I just hope the correction flushes out some of the chitcoins that didn't deserve high market caps.

yes, and that all kind of started with btc's run from 4k tbh..

i thought alt growth was much more organic. that type of growth was seen previous to the 3 big forks btc announced

it definitely hasn't been a month. youve had coins growing like walton from 12 to 48 bucks amidst this mess as well.

i know youve been in icx. icx been tough to hold lately

i said 2 weeks in regard to the china fud when it came out that china was "banning crypto". i believe it started with icos and then furthered to chinese exchanges shutting down that saw btc at 5K+ to 3K

one of the only times ive been confused in the market because there was a lot of convolutedness around which exchanges were being banned and when, and what was supposed to happen, etc.

but the market overcame it like nothing happened and came back stronger

im not quite sure this is the same as btc testing the levels from the stupid azz forks, but btc has to be strong at 10K now. 9k too

This. I meant all the FUD surrounding which exchanges were shutting down etc. Imho that was a 2 week swing from recent lows after it hit ATH in December.

I got in early (ish)

DBC went up like 4x I sold half at 2x to get into PRL

Then dumb korea FUD I sold at a dip, then got bull-trapped

Currently holding bags (at like a 0.1% total gain after all considered LOL)

It’s been a little over a month since BTCs ATH, but the market ATH was only just earlier this month on Jan 7th. That same day bitcoin was back up to $17k.

So it’s only been a short while since the market as a whole has stopped climbing.

I’ll start to worry if we Haven’t moved/gone down going into March.

Well it really depends on the coin... and also if it has retraced a lot.


If it's a good project, with good impending news and has retraced over 50% from ATH.. then it may be smart to DCA/double down at low levels.. then hold it as a position. (this is what I'm doing with VEN.. most of my experience was profit but I'm holding small bags from previous uptrend and will DCA if I get some liquidity at it's current uptrend.)


If it's complete and utter trash like TRX, BCASH and XRP - coins that went off but have extreme FUD circulating them.. then I think it's wise to cut losses and liquidate them into more promising short term ROI's (NEO, OMG, ICX, VEN, DRGN, etc.. /shill)


I don't know much about the coins you have bags for but if the speculative value is still good or if it may see new exchanges soon, etc etc.. then DCA and buy more on the heavy retrace. Otherwise cut losses.
