Took a promotion to come up here. No issues with the ex wife at all.

Agreed. And like I said, in my situation, people want to talk about it and help. Which is great, but makes it worse. Before Christmas I had a friend of hers come up to me while I was out on the town and said "so she says a lot, what happened?" Told him, he laughed and immediately started texting her with a semi-wtf talk to him convo. And you could tell with her responses there was a lot of emotion still there. Same guy who was out with a group with her one night when I was at the same bar, then when they left I got a "I know we both saw each other" text. :-|

But I am incredibly thankful that I took up skiing. It gets me out of the house on the weekends and it clears the head.

I grew up in the woods and then later in towns of 800-1200 or so until my early 20s. One grocery store, one post office, one restaurant, one hotel bar, and bored people all winter with nothing to do but talk about the other people.

This post is giving me flashbacks of living in the sticks.

I've lived in the sticks with around 300 people. None of that except a general store that supported two "towns". Had to drive a half hour to get to all the big shopping, post office, restaurants, etc. I remember as a kid my parents, family, friend, just getting drunk and talking about town drama.

I think matt thinks he is getting fat or weak. Or both. And he wants me to teach him. I told him that if he is going to be weird and sexualize everything that I do, like squat, I'm not doing it. He already completely ruined my cardio stepper for me. No one should look or feel like they have to look sexy when they lift. Ugh. I wanna have my tits strapped, my gut stuck out, my hair messy and my face sweaty.

Any of you guys have weird kids? Or were weird kids? I got one weird one. Not sure how to help him not be so weird.

What do you mean by weird? Feel like I've got a wild strain running in my DNA. My kid's got it too but still a little early to tell. Think "Hoochie Coochie Man" type weird.

I was kind of weird, but I knew plenty of other kids that were weird as fuak. I remember having to go to daycare when I was young and some kid there kept wiping his boogers on everything. Another kid kept trying to poke himself in the ass with stuff, long after he should have stopped doing that.

If you want him to stop being weird he has to go out and be with other kids who will make him feel weird for that kind of behavior. It's the way I learned..
