So I'm on the misc at 5AM, and I'm pretty sure I'm insomniac or something.

Last semester, I had this ****ty amplifier design class where I pulled an all nighter for the lab every Wednesday for four months. I think I trained myself to stay awake by doing that or something, because all through Christmas break, I could never get to sleep before midnight. I'd just get in bed at like 10PM and lie there wide awake for an hour, then get up and misc or play Rocket League till I finally passed out from exhaustion at like 4 AM.

Now my school schedule is really open this semester, I don't have any classes Monday or Friday (Tues-Thurs sucks though), so I have a 4 day weekend and am free to stay up most nights. I have regularly been getting up at like 11AM-1PM, sitting around my apartment in a daze until like 5 or 6 PM, then just powering ahead on work from the evening till I pass out again around 4 in the morning. I am thinking I have another hour of work in me, so I'm probably going to go to bed at 6 AM and wake up around 3 PM tomorrow.

IDK what to do brahs, my sleep schedule is totally ****ed.

On a related note, school's kind of got this weird, "after the end" feeling to it now. Yes, I still have this semester to go, yes, I'm still turning around and going to grad school right afterwards, but it just feels different this time.

I look around my classes or I'll be talking to someone, and it's like "4 more months and I'll never see you again" - not that I'll be sad to see them go, but it's a weird feeling when you realize how temporary it is. Classes feel less like "gotta make an A" and more like "gotta check this box off". It's kind of hit home that I'm not going get laid or have any college friends - like that low chance of a "maybe" has turned into a "nope." I dunno, it just feels like school's already done now and I'm just going through the motions.

My "diet" is going kind of meh - I still eat ****ty foods, but I have tried to cut it down to 1-2 meals a day. Had an apple for breakfast today (at 3 PM, what did I say about not sleeping?) and a fast food burger for lunch, skipped dinner.

I had a guy text me - "hey, did you submit the research progress report due tonight?" I said "what progress report? I thought it was due the 31st."

Nope. Due tonight at midnight. So I scrambled my ass off and got that paper done on time.

Had I NOT got this text, I 100% guarantee I would've missed the deadline, and per program rules, that would mean I'd automatically get dropped from a research class required for graduation. It's a year-long program that can only be started in the fall, so this would have set me back a full year in graduation and cost me probably $15,000 in new loans for tuition + R&B to take that extra year, even to just enroll in that one 3 hour class.

Big doors turn on some small fukkin hinges.

You can fuk women and do other things to "improve" yourself. why do people act like it's one or the other whatever.

Switching topics, what are 3 things my mgtow brahs are looking forward to? I try to always have a few things in mind, big or small, that I'm looking forward to to remind me why I bother getting up in the morning and getting a$$e fuked by life.

For me:

1. My friends bachelor party in New Orleans in a few months. Been there once and I loved it. Great food.

2. Movies coming out in the next year or so, really looking forward to black panther, ready player one, infinity war, Incredibles 2 , and MI6.

3. Video Games in the next year or so. Read Dead 2, Kingdom Hearts 3, and Spider Man probably the most excited about

It depends. I have friends who can get laid easily through tinder or just going out with minimal effort.

Then there are people like me who need to go through 500000 rejections before getting a date.

In your scenario, if it takes some monumental effort to get decent puss*ie, something bigger is wrong. But don't think reading books and learning a language is going to all of a sudden mean you're banging 10s or whatever. Unless you're going to get rich, not much of what you do will change where you stand with women.

If you're working in a plant, at least you'll be getting some sort of exercise since you'll be on your feet most of your shift and $14 is not that bad depending on how many hours you're working. How many hours you're working a day?

Beer and Whataburger are definitely in order.

IDK, a factory job is decent temp work, it'd probably be fine for a few months. But I'd blow my head off if I had to do that **** every day for like 10+ years.

That's a good question, man. Come to think of it, there's nothing I'm really looking forward to right now, no depression.

Maybe work this summer, but even that's not exactly a vacation, and then EE grad school is gonna go in dry after that. I guess the upside is that I'm still on track to graduate with a BS in 4 years - see above where I wasthisclose to ****ing that all up.

But yeah, there's no video games, movies, social events, trips, holidays, or anything like that. The only thing I can really think of is the NFL draft. It's just kind of a grind.

I'll always remember when I fuked up a golden opportunity to avoid paying council tax (not sure what the equivalent is in the states; maybe property tax or something). I fuked this up because I received a cheque from the council reimbursing me, and I called up to query why the fuk they've sent me a cheque, and that's when they realised they made a mistake. I was then instructed to throw the cheque away.
Had I cashed the cheque first, and not said a fukin' thing, i'd be golden right now.

In other news I went to my first Japanese lesson last night. I met an actual NEET. As in, I asked him what he does for a living, and he said "i'm a NEET - do you know what that is?". I told him i'd heard the term and then asked if he had some kinda side hustle going on, but he didn't. Nice guy though.

Elaborating on my Japanese classes...

Not many attractive women, perhaps 1, maybe 2. Large proportion of misfit males.

Pretty much in keeping with all my adult social excursions so far, bar creative writing which was all female, but none were open to dating.

We're all gonna make it brahs...

sometimes I feel like some of our lives are purposely structured around minimizing our chances of finding someone, in an almost uncanny way, like there is some higher force dictating it.

I remember, in high school, we had an unusual 3:2 boy girl ratio for our grade, all through high school. the girls were also unusually unnatractive in my grade as well.

Then came college: they threw me in an engineering dorm, despite my objections. 95% men. my classes were also 90% men. and the clubs I was in. men. men. men.

Come to graduation. Job in engineering. mostly men. you make more coworker friends who are men by association..and know mostly men since they are engineers. '

then all this chit that happaned to me ona daily basis where I SWEAR there was a higher force intervening. Some examples were, I would sit down at a bar, notice some attractice women, and right before I made my way to sit down, they all left (closed bill). I would sit down, and men would replace them. random chit like this happened all the time. at the grocery store, I would find a line, with a cute cashier; except when It was my turn, suddenly she would have to go on break and a nasty old guy would be there. then, I would notice the cute girl looking for a line would come behind me but suddenly recieve a call on her phone.

Confirmation bias. It happens.

If you want places that are 100% men, go to the military, work for the government (in the middle east), go live in fight camps in Thailand, work/live in rural Africa, etc. Plenty of us have had lots of time either alone or around 99.9% men related places. It doesn't mean opportunities don't pop up. You live in the US (I'm assuming) so that means every single day (unless you're on a military post), you can go somewhere and meet women. Fact.

ROFL, i'm glad you've mentioned this because it's reminded me of a something that happened in my Japanese class...

I get there early, walk into the class room, and there's 5 large tables scattered about. 3 people have already arrived, all sitting at individual tables, so I opt for a similar approach and take a table to myself.

Over the next 10 mins, the rest of the class showed up 1 by 1 and started taking seats.

Guess who's table was the last to fill up...

One of the attractive women walked by my table and chose to sit with some overweight dude instead.

Such is life.

I chose not to read into it too much or conclude anything from it, but I'd be lying if I said it didn't get me thinking.
