Essentially this.

I’m a sats cope person because it’s of my belief BTC will remain king, and be worth 2.5–4x it’s current value this year. So I’m trying to accumulate sats since I think they are the more valuable hold than the dollar.

Seems to be getting kinda ignored for some reason, this is a big thing for crypto. Email addresses used to resemble current wallet addresses more then the "whateveryouwannawrite@.com" they are today, the whole system was archaic and a pain in the ass to use.

Seems like the most realistic one tbh, the rest have it just blasting through everything to get sub 7K, I'm pretty sure most of us would be throwing available fiat in to buy sub 7K btc unless there was good reason not to (like real fud that threatens btc).

Personally, I rode it up a bit and sold - really could go either way from here and rn I'm all about not holding bags, lamo. Your risk tolerance may vary.

The rebrand and binance listing has been known about as solid fact for WEEKS now, so it's not exactly new info. Could still cause a big old pump, though, especially once this bitgrail drama blows over.

Wish I could say I was. But I got into crypto within the last year and basically been learning on the fly. I'm a big picture, long term guy so this is the kind of thing I've become interested in (compared to short term trading).

Though I am not convinced that gold is as scarce as we're led to believe, I wouldn't be getting into gold long term either.

What do you mean by "proven anything on the mainnet"?

Are they no longer an erc20 token and their own blockchain? Yes.

That chart shows you some of the infrastructure ALREADY built in. My, "it should be worth more" is based upon the fact that there seems to be more actual use for icon already

much more bullish as a whole than its ever been. I think November/December was the peak of crypto euphoria when BTC seemed to jump 1k per day and seemed like it would rise forever. The correction was expected after such a major growth spurt, nobody thought last year that a 10k floor would make investors panic. There are much more real-life implementations now than ever before, with govermnments beginning to accept crypto payments for taxes, municipal payments, etc. Lot of asian retailers are accepting btc and other crypto payments, which hasn't taken place yet in the western world. This is still the growth stage, which is currently at very healthy levels.
If you are not willing to risk the unusual, you will have to settle for the ordinary

This is probably the most bearish I have felt second to the obvious mt. gox shutdown bear market into 2014-2015. I never once felt bearish in 2017 (except maybe end of December during the ****coin bullrun). Reason I am bearish right now is mostly due to tether in the sense that we don't know if it was printed tether that caused BTC's huge price run since $3-4k. It calls into question - are the prices we have currently totally overvalued? If we had not had tether - would BTC be even close to the price it is now?

That's the main thing. I think crypto will be fine in general, but we don't know if these prices are "legitimate" right now, which means buying right now could be extremely risky. The other "bear markets" we had (June-July 2017, January months, etc.) weren't really bear markets (sans 2014-2015 mt. gox), they were just sell offs which caused panic selling by noobs. There was nothing calling into question the current prices at those times like tether is now.

Feels like September. It was about 6 weeks long and there was one new fud-piece after another. The boom, before you know it, new ath were had. Seems more promising this time because we're seeing more inlets for newbies open (or in the case of Korea, reopening).

I think exchanges have a lot of fault for letting such a risky coin, riskiest on the entire market come onto their exchange and potentially destabilise the entire market.

Exchanges need to give tether a deadline to prove their billions or start delisting them. Exchanges could pitch it to the world as a risk management excercise in the hopes of cushioning a crash. Either way we need to deal with this issue sooner rather than later
