a snap of what i wrote in my journal:

@ that point now where my current job just starting to bore me. They treat me well, the pay is ok but even if a raise came my way, I'm not sure I'll still be happy doing this. Maybe it's really time to give medical school another crack?

Perhaps it's just my (current) emotions talking?? Alternate career would be something like software engineering.

Just confused, lost, and feeling empty as f****k.

Should i just randomly pick out of a hat and just go with that?

this is so true. all the moments in my life that have revolved around caring for women have all backfired someway, somehow.

however, i found that when i just focus on me and forget about women (or just that constant need for validation) it works in my favor. i remade my tinder last month and it always bothered me how women who really dont deserve it otherwise seem to have the upper hand because we as men are so desperate for females...even when we arent

This topic is too srs (for me) to make pron jokes

But I'll take a crack at this:

There are things I enjoy doing but don't want to do as a career.

- i like clothes (old school men's fashion)
- writing
- reading
- debates & discussions
- music (organ, keyboard)

-------

Career wise, I've always admired white collar, suit and tie professionals with degrees and titles behind their names. I know i doNOTlike: finance, politics,

I'm sort of stuck between:
-medicine
-software engineering; computer science
-health care administration
-health care informatics

I would just love to narrow something down, buy books, and while working my desk job just study it inside out, practice, practice, practice then try to move up the career ladder.

Im currently in a masters program for MS healthcare informatics administration and my desk job as an admin assistant is a good level to start and branch into something more.

I just don't know and can't find something fulfilling enough to throw my all into.

I will say this:
I love being creative, coming up with a solution, organizing, drafting and drawing a plan, modeling, building / creating it. Don't want to go broke, you know? Want to be well off.

As a kid around 12ish, i was so big on creating my own video game i had a folder where i would draw and write up everything from the characters, the story line, you name it. Today i dont love video games as much but that creativity is sort of still there.

I hope this helps.

Im supposed to finish my masters in 2019 but along the way it would be nice to figure out a plan and start moving towards that direction.

Maybe there's a way to combine everything?

At least now you'll see why im all over the place

Well you did it Deenur, you encouraged me to begin writing again. To give me that extra incentive I finally gave in to all the constant email ads and updated my aging Final Cut application.

I said I wanted to write, now I have the impetus to write. Thanks, and good luck. Looking to see your name in the credits soon.

Focus on what you really want to do. And yes, part time is best. You can try it out and see if it is actually viable. Desire is important, but goals must be realistic. That doesnt mean listen to negativity. If you have crazy goals (like me being a screenwriter) but you can see others have done it, or similar, then go for it. Biggest advice: Don't Quit.

Contacted agent for bankable star, at request of bankable star, to get him a script to read.
Working on feature length script to star an actor with developmental disabilities.
